Great Starter in All Respects
I really like this palm saver short starter. It has a short stem on one side to let me get the ball started in the barrel, then a longer stem to get far enough down the barrel to use my ram rod full force. It has a hole on one side to put over the ram rod to get more force when the ball gets tight after several shots. It's nylon, so it won't break like my old wooden starter.

Also Palm Saver Feature
Works great. Not obvious from the ad picture or description, this has two functions. The obvious is the bullet starter which makes the initial insertion of the bullet easier than using the full length of the ram rod or your palm. Not obvious is that it also has a round hole on the opposite side of the ball portion that fits over the end of your ram rod to use between your palm and the rod vs using your bare palm on the end of the rod. I've seen this feature referred to as a palm saver because it eliminates the pain in your palm. In doing so, it also provides a more solid feel giving you assurance that you've fully inserted the bullet. The palm saver is the best feature in my opinion. I don't necessarily take time to use it if I'm frantically trying to reload after a game shot but it sure helps and is worth having.

Great product , terrible shipping packaging.
Good product for starting powerbelt areo bullets comes with a multitude of tips. The shipping bag however does not protect t the product the package was all but destroyed inside the packaging. Gotta be a better way [Perhaps a small box]!!! .

This product is exactly what I needed for the powebelt bullets in order to not smash the aero tips and load correctly. Made many purchases through CVA in the past and will make many more in the future as well as my future Generations that succeed me.

Works perfectly! I just wish that CVA made a rod specifically for Powerbelt. Generally, I start the bullet with this and do not put the adapter piece on the rod, though I may mess up the bullet tip slightly. But, it has not prevented me from killing deer between 75-100 yards
