Superior Iron Man Vol. 1: Infamous

Wow, I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews, as I found this volume a really great read. The concept is, if you haven't already heard through about 10,000 news reports, Iron Man is now "evil." But, its not that straight forward. See, in Axis, his personality flipped, not just made him evil. Unfortunately, Iron Man was not the most noble of heroes before, so he's not the worst of bad guys now. His pursuit of money and greed by feeding of peoples desire to be beautiful I thought was rather entertaining. And seeing him use his tech genius in new and more modern ways was fairly interesting as well. If I had any complaint, it would be having daredevil guest star so much, so early in the series. It tended to take away from the enjoyment of this version of Iron Man (kind of like how peter parker was a ghost in the head of the superior spider-man for the first few issues of the series. Otherwise, I loved the series and can't wait for volume 2. Also, please note, me giving it 5 stars does not mean I'm saying this is a perfect comic, but rather reflects my enjoyment of the series (which I loved).

Great story. Contrary to popular opinion I don't really think Tony Stark comes off as a villain in this. Even though he does some very questionable things he still seems to believe he is doing them for the greater good. Tom Taylor makes Tony Stark resemble the Iron Man from the pages of the Ultimates or even the Tony we have seen in the Iron Man movies more than we have seen any time before. Another great thing about this volume is seeing Daredevil. Matt Murdock definitely seems a lot more like his old self than the over the top happy character you see in the pages of Mark Waid's Daredevil. Putting Daredevil vs Iron Man together was a great idea. All together there is a very great story here with fantastic art. While it might be a bit confusing to those that have not read Axis, I would still recommend this to any fan of Iron Man or Daredevil.

The story seems to have alot of potential but it takes a whole to develop. The art isn't all that great either. With $20 I could have gotten something more fulfilling.

I liked the story (although a little too much Daredevil for my taste). I liked the new suit. I liked the art style. But i really liked the new Tony Stark. Suvh a refreshing take on the character. Must read for Iron Man fans.

Anything with Iron man is a great story - Marvel's best superhero by far.

Kind of interesting, would have returned it if I could. Not really something I'd reread.

With the negative reviews that this book has I was a bit skeptical but I am collecting all of the Marvel Now books so I got it any ways and these negative nancies are so wrong.I am a huge fan of Iron Man and this book was fantastic. People are complaining about Tony being the Villain now but apparently didn't read Axis. In the events of Axis all the hero's perspective on everything flip flopped. If you cared about the wellbeing of humans you didn't any more. If you cared for the safety of the world you didn't any more. And if Tony's case if he didn't care about money, he does now. *and later in the book you find out why he really is doing what he is doing. I don't like going over every plot detail in a review because what is the point of buying the book if someone spoils it in the reviews but do not listen to the negatives for this book. It is a great start to a new series.

After the events of the Axis storyline (on sale now!), Tony Stark remained evil.He becomes really vain and returns to 'social' drinking.However, his get rich quick scheme of upgrading people with his Extremis app to become physically perfect, will it succeed?Great story and nice art!

Il pacco è arrivato in anticipo rispetto alla data prevista e il prodotto è in condizioni perfette. Forse il prezzo è un pochino alto per la quantità effettiva di pagine ma rimane comunque un'ottima lettura.
