Wow, lovely loo paper
Im not really into the big branded toilet paper usually rating them very overpriced but I am not into the super cheap either. I have always purchased the middle band of quality. I must say though, that I was fed up with the repeat 9 roll purchase and checked out the bigger buy options at Costco and then Amazon. Have to say price comparison is good compared to Costco, sains and tesco - but- this is fabulous toilet paper. Super soft and smooth and not bulky withit. I am going to double check prices before my next purcahse but will def start here now and compare others to this set.

Great bulk buy
I always buy the big packs due to cost wise as I'm out of work, and as I live miles away from shops (other then a local expensive newsagent) and no car so need to take buses, I cannot carry food shopping and have to make two trips wasting my day. This is not as soft as the brand I normally get. But will continue to buy this product from now on as it's great value buying it in bulk and still a great product. I'd rather save money sacrificing some softness by this buying this product. Almost on 2nd last pack now, so when I open last pack I will then work out how many months it's been and subscribe to regular deliveries.Saves me time, and money. Will keep buying this now and recommend to all to buy! (you can even get free gifts or vouchers off the website putting in codes from each pack when you open them, saving MORE money. Im now a loyal customer as this is available in bulk, and good quality and saves me money.

Good-at-its-job toilet roll, but new type unsuitable for septic tanks
(EDIT: new wave type 2021 is not suitable for septic tanks; too robust and doesn't break up).I'm sorry some others don't like this type of loo roll; we actually find it very good for the job. It has the right combination for us of being strong enough not to fall apart when using, but weak enough to disintegrate into shreds when flushed. (EDIT: the new type 'with waves' doesn't disintegrate properly any more, so we cannot have it). That is important for us as we have a septic tank and drainage field system, so clogging would be bad for us. We cannot use quilted loo roll for instance: far too robust and clogs the tank. We did prefer the much older 'soft, strong, and very very long' for better value at 280 sheets, but those days are gone; they reduced from 280 to 240 sheets, then to 221 sheets, and now it is only 200 sheets. very sad.

Good, reasonable price.
Andrex Classic Clean Toilet Tissue, 48 Toilet RollsI usually buy own make supermarket brands, good quality & a good price. With lockdown my access to large supermarkets has gone (no car) & whatever I buy I have to carry. No supermarket delivery slots available.Hence Amazon held loo rolls look attractive. When I bought it worked out as £6.64 per 16 roll pack. 2ply, relatively strong, 200 sheets per roll, no dust or fluffy bits, good quality. Embossed with Andrex on the sheets, I assume genuine.Supermarket own make is £6 per 16 roll pack, 2 ply, 240 sheets per roll, same width. But I would say not as strong, so andrex a reasonable buy.Packaging – transparent plastic bag to hold the 3 packs together. Some reviewers have complained, & I agree in the sense it is more plastic. But packing in a box would be expensive & bulky, the rolls need some protection, my outer packaging was damaged, the inner not.I don’t care that transparent packing means delivery drivers & neighbours know its loo roll.

Still the best....
Well they say we ladies follow our mums in the use of wash powders, kitchen cleaning products generally and the obvious one, toilet roll choice and woe betide anyone who tries to change that stance... Well, I’m no exception to that rule and I have to say yes! It is still the best.... I have though over the years been using puppies on a roll version... but, (I might be shooting myself and everyone else in the foot here) having noticed that puppies on a roll are getting shorter ( less sheets) on the roll content, and therefore using up quicker, I have gone back to my mothers beloved ‘Proper Andrex Classic’... it may be slightly dearer but in my view you get what you pay for - more sheets per roll - hooray!! In this day and age when we are getting much less for our money in that packet and tin sizes are being reduced but the cost remains the same, it’s very refreshing. Very pleased! Does what it says on the tin!

Wipes out the competition!
I've been trying to wipe out the deficit in my life for some time now; it's frankly becoming a pain in the ass. I'm a charmin fellow and as a consequence I always have to be cautious of being on the receiving end of a bum deal. I discussed my idea of leaving a review about this loo roll with family friends but they just kept poo-pooing it. Despite this, I strongly believe its time to flush out the facts.I had a couple of options to choose from. The first I tried, seemed to stink. I'm not mentioning any names as they might think I'm conducting a smear campaign. So I went for number two (Andrex White Toilet Tissue of course!). It's really good for the bottom line and joke all you like, I don't like to be in arrears. This may be a little tongue in cheek but you never want to find yourself up the creek without a paddle. You see I felt a need to 'ply some standards to my purchasing and Andrex standards certainly aren't below the belt. I really dropped a clanger there eh?! Anyway, you might think I'm on a roll but I'm afraid I've really gotta go. The paper trail stops here.
