Hot 'N Nasty indeed!!!!
If you are a Humble Pie fan or a fan of any 70's hard rock music you owe it to yourself to own this disc. The whole band is in top form here. Marriott turns in an incredible performance. Greg Ridley( the most underrated bass player in rock & roll) does more than hold it together here. Every note he unleashes is as tasty as anything the guitars are doing. Clempson solo's with a vengeance and the only place I really notice the absence of Frampton is during his vocal spot on Four Day Creep. His playing easily rivals and at times surpasses Frampton here though. Steve's playing and singing rival any front man from any band of any era. He simply owns ever second of this show. It is beyond me why he is not a household name. If you've never heard "The Pie" but you like the Black Crowes and Zeppelin, you need to do yourself a favor and pick this up. It's different from either, but it rocks just as hard as anything either of those bands ever recorded. As a matter of fact, if Jimmy Page had gotten his way Steve Marriott would have been the singer in Zeppelin.Nuff Said!!!! Get this now.

A must have
One of the great 60's British Invasion bands, possibly the most underrated! This is a fabulous collection of studio and live recordings that is a must for every collector. Recordings like this one won't be available forever....get it while you can.

Red Hot
There's a reason Clem Clempson was given a tiddy sum to leave Colosseum and join Humble Pie. But the rest of the band also make this a must have for fans of this lineup. Big sound is great, song selection right on and unique.

An excellent recording, though you might be disappointed....
For all of you die hard Humble Pie fans, you probably already own this. This is a re-packaging of "King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents Humble Pie In Concert" that was was originally released back in 1995. The concert itself is excellent, though it dates itself (1973) when Steve Marriott starts talking about Nixon in the song "Road Runner". Actually, in a weird way, it's kind of funny. The sound is the same as that of the King Biscuit release: excellent stereo and very clean for a live recording. However, the packaging is rather cheesy: on the front cover is a lone picture of Peter Frampton who is NOT in this Humble Pie lineup. Liner notes consist of a short generic blurb on the inside of the Digipak foldout. No booklet or photos are to be had.Being that this Humble Pie/King Biscuit release is out of print, it's rather nice to have it available again. On the plus side, the "Store For Music" label didn't truncate any of the songs, nor did they chop up or re-arrange the song list. This is definitely worth seeking out if you don't already own it.

THE BEST ROCK LIVE
While I give this album a three star review, it is because of the mp3 file itself that it is only three stars. If I was to rate the music only, I have to give it five stars. Humble Pie was one of those bands that were much better live than in the studio and this album is a perfect example. They were at the top of their game when this was made and it gives you a great look into one of the best Rock bands to come out of that era; especially the Dr. John song "I Walk On Guilded Splinters" It really shows off what this band could do and the wonderful musicianship of Peter Frampton, who did not play on the "Live At Fillmore East" album. Now, as far as the quality of this mp3 file. It came through with glitches in almost every track and I have not been able to get rid of them, despite following the directions given on the Cloud Player. The music, though, is first rate.
