Michigan Peat 20 Pound Bag of Garden Magic General Purpose Moisture Retaining Potting Soil Mix for Indoor and Outdoor Planting

I finally retired and am enjoying my long-awaited foray into gardening. So I ordered 240 pounds of soil while my compost is ... uh...composting. Anywho, the order was short 2 bags, but I was busy and hadn't noticed yet. Don't judge, that's a lot of bags of soil to keep track of! So the company messages me a couple days later and says "hey, two bags of soil are delayed in transit (carrier lost 'em) - we're working on it, we'll get back with you". And they did because ain't nobody finding that lost soil ever I think. They sent out two more bags to replace the lost ones and my plants have been rejoicing ever since. Great company and my plants seem to love the soil. Give them a try, I bet you'll like it.

Yes my package arrived on time. It was well protected by putting inside a box. Great quality and fantastic price , was so happy. Thank You

I have 60+ tropical plants. Being in my 70's, lugging potting soil around is a chore. Having this delivered was a big deal for me. This soil is great. My plants are thriving!

Pretty good dirt. I am amending some small pots and this will be good for that. The bag this was in leaked out of its bag, and out of the box so a bit less and a bit of a mess when opened too.... so needs a hardier bag if it is going to be thrown about in a much too big box.

I've been using this dirt for over a year and love what I am seeing so far. Moisture retention is very good in Utah, as is its consistency. I used the 40 lb bag, and its weight is exactly 40 pounds. As far as a bug problem goes, I have seen none. My roses are doing well, and my tomatoes did great last year. The soil has what it needs to do well in Utah.

I actually ordered this product twice from the same company. I felt for the price, it was worth it. I did come across some, stones and rocks. Nothing bigger than a chicken egg. Also, I came across some thick sticks no bigger than a the size of a small fist. The soil is ready for use, with a consistent appearance and the performance and growth, (along with a good plant/vegetable fertilizer) seems to be growing well. When I first ordered this product, it only came with one 20 lb bag. At first I thought it was me. Let’s face it, after scrolling through tons of options and finally settling on one, you have a tendency to forget exactly what you’re ordering. I then reread the order and saw I did order another bag and didn’t receive it. I contacted customer service and they immediately rectified the order and shipped me my missing bag during the 4th of July holiday. I ordered 2 more bags from them and received both; same consistency, ease of use and the bags are very durable.

Great soil! Good amount of chunk, it has good water absorption and good drainage. Smells nice and the price is nice, too.

Not what I expect from potting soil. Too much clay. Too many pieces of half composed branches. Not enough sand. Retains water well... not necessarily in a good way. Clots up into hard lumps as it dries. Needs a course mesh seive to remove the junk in it and to mix the organics into it. Not horrible. Not great either.
