I am taking 1 star off because you have to really finagle the envelopes into the black pouch...but the black pouch is amazing to use fr carrying all of your envelopes around. The envelopes arent sturdy enough for change but then again almost all arent. I need to figure out what people use for that. We love this and have really enjoyed using it this month. The only downside is that we have to buy another set that includes a black pouch eventhough we dont need it. Not just a refill of the envelopes. Which is NOT a good use of my budget and defeats the point.Update: I ordered them again this week and they improved the envelopesand made the black zipper pouch slightly bigger to fit the envelopes better and I am blown away and pleased that something I loved got even better. Thank you for making those changes. Please dont make another brown envelope though because its ugly but also too dark to read well on top of it. Thanks!

I've been listening Dave Ramsey for a couple of weeks now, I started with my budget and also got this money envelopes to carry my cash for different things like, my personal spend, groceries, kids, gas, etc.The fact that I can see how much money I have left to spend on certain items, helps me to plan better and really think if it's a want or a need.I like that they come in a pouch you can put in your purse, very easy to use and convenient for your finances.Everyone should use them, to help them save money. 100% recommend cash envelopes.

I was disappointed that the envelopes are so soft and flimsy. I used scotch tape to reinforce the seams so I could get the money inside without pulling it apart because the bill gets caught in the joint. The outside pouch is soft and good quality but could be a little bigger. Its tight to take the envelope in and out without bending or crumpling the other envelopes that are in there too.Addendum: the seller contacted me about my review and sent a replacement product that fulfilled all my expectations. The wallet/pouch is about 3/4 inch bigger which is perfect for the envelops which were also improved. The paper is heavier with a plastic coating inside. They will hold up better to daily use. I'm very pleased with the new product.

Absolutely love this budget book. Arrived on time, well made and the layout is very nice. I love having the calendar spread to fill out at the beginning of each month. There are two pages to budget expenses (I only use one page, I use the other page as a month to month tracker to see where my money is going and how each category compares to the previous month.) There are 3.5 pages for tracking expenses which are more than enough. What I love most about this planner is that it is a BUDGET tracker, not a diary. While it is very well laid out it isn't frilly. Budget books I've used in the past were too interested in pretty, embellished pages and flooded with section after section to fill out of "how do you feel about" nonsense. I don't need a financial counselor - not yet anyway- I just wanted to track my cash flow in a logical, straightforward, no nonsense way. This book is perfect.

Extremely high quality product! Love the ability to track Your spending on one side Plus it minus is a plus as well- each acts like a mini bank account! I also create one envelope for leftover money - and find something I want to buy at the end of the year with that excess! Great variety of colors and easy to read print - enough room for plenty of ones also if you happen to have those!!

The concept is good, but on the one I received some pages are faded almost as if during printing the ink was running out. It could be that I received a defective copy. I do wish the monthly calendar was at the start of each month instead of at the end.

I would actually for the first time give a 6 or 10 if I could I love this budgeting book

One of my friend recommended a budget planner for my spending and I found this. I am glad I got it. Pages are pretty thick and it is difficult to damage which is good because I will use it for a whole year. I did not know how to use bit but it has actually instructions that will help to start.
