What I did not like is the fact I had to actually put them together with a little sticky glue that was not easy to get off the paper. Little bit more trouble than there were worth for me.

Did an 80’s party and these were adorable!

I was very happy with this purchase in general. Both types of toppers very cute but not of the same quality.The guitars are made of nice, sturdy glossy paper, the image is on both sides of the toothpick type stick.Notes, as cute as they are, are less in quality and sturdiness. I tore one note in half while trying to assemble. YES, the DIY assembly is required. They send you a set of one sided noted, not sharpened paper sticks and some glue dots. The rest is up to you. I didn’t expect that. Moreover, once assembled, the notes become sticky on the back side, so you can’t stack them if you’re not putting them on the cakes right away. I used parchment paper to lay them on and then wrap in for transportation.After all, the result was beautiful. Toppers served their purpose of completing my music theme. If I needed, I probably would order again.
