Does what its supposed to do.
I have a full basement that I intend to finish. I installed this in place of the cheap one that came with the house and it has worked perfectly. The secondary pump has not come on (beside testing periodically) and battery has remained at 100%. When comparing something like this to a regular pump, you will be in for sticker shock but it is well worth the piece of mind knowing you are as covered as you can be. Living about a mile from the ocean, we have a fairly high water table sot his was very important. It usually takes 2 days of rain to get this moving but with all the snow melting now its been powering up at regular intervals. Our footprint is about 1,400sq ft. It's a good afternoon project to install.

Absolute Junk
Absolute junk. My company installed about 50 of these over a 3 month period and 35 have failed already within 6 months. The float system is terrible and malfunctions causing the pump to run continuously and burn itself out in short order. I can’t think of a worse product I have ever used. Stick with Zoeller or Wayne.

Great Quality Pump
Installed myself which was easy. Did have a small issue with the float timer. It was causing a chugging sound. After I figured that out and adjustments where made can’t hear the thing. Works great thus far

Not impressed at all.
I’m a plumber, the company I work for recently switched from these pumps to liberty because all of our plumbers were begging the owner (not a plumber) to get away from Glentronics. I’ve put so many of these in, and they’re okay much better that the basement watchdog also made by glentronics which literally disintegrates after a while. Over the two years the company has used Any of this companies pumps there have been so many manufacturing issues. Replaced a 9 year old zoeller with one of their pumps, itbliterally just quit working within 2 weeks. Another plumber from our company replaced it. It failed again. I went back and put in another one, and haven’t heard back since. Installed exactly as it should be. Many times the floats would quit working for no reason. And for a while they were coming from the factory with the backup float going if before the primary. Tons of headache. And beyond thankful to be moving away from them.

Best unit you can buy, but it's very pricey
Good heavy duty pump, top quality charger maintainer, a real smart charger, not just an average battery charger. Did an install recently for a customer in macomb. Everything is preset, didn't have to change float position, has good on/off cycle times. I've also been using the PHCC brand sump pumps for a few years now, very good product line. And it is true about their electricity efficiency claim, it uses 1/3 the juice of any other sump pump on the market. I used the kilowatt meter to verify, under 3.6amps compared to several other brands over 10amp continuos draw.Excellent monitoring device

Excellent Pump!
I have a fully finished basement on a water bed! So, I needed an excellent pump with backup. After a detailed research I found this one and it is great in its performance; water flow is superb, very quiet operation and reportedly consuming less power. But, its float switch is questionable in terms of reliability. Within 1 week of operation primary pump float switch failed and the backup pump kicked in with alerts. That is the reason, 1 star is reduced on my rating. I replaced the float switch of the primary pump with a non-moving HC6000 Hi-Lo Sump Pump Controller; which works great.
