Great Heavy Duty Sewing Machine, but it's not white as it appears in advertising.
I'd been eyeing the Singer Sewing 4432 Heavy Duty Extra-High Speed Sewing Machine with Metal Frame and Stainless Steel Bedplate for quite some time as an upgrade from the SINGER 2277 Tradition Sewing Machine with Automatic Needle Threader that I purchased as my first sewing machine. Top load bobbin so I can easily see how much thread I have left and solid metal frame where exactly what I wanted, however, I wasn't thrilled with the grey industrial looking case. When I discovered the Singer Classic 23-Stitch Heavy-Duty Mechanical Sewing Machine I though I'd found the solution.Don't get me wrong, I love this machine and it does look better than the 4432 (which is the exact same machine with a different case color and markings), but it is NOT white as you can see from the attached photo. It is a lighter shade of grey than the 4432 or 4411, but definitely not white.Regardless, it works exactly as expected, same Singer quality, and little to no learning curve stepping up from the 2277.

Simple to use for one familiar with Singer machines
I killed my prior 1980's vintage Singer 7110 (gears failed) making community masks, and needed a replacement. This new one rocks! Very sturdy and easy going, with some improvements over the prior model, including a needle threader, and an easier toggle for reverse stitching. Anyone with prior Singer experience will have no problem with this baby. With one exception: I thought at first there was a problem because after I played around with all the different stitches, the needle position dial did not seem to move the needle to left, center, right. I found out that that the needle position dial only moves the needle position if you've set the stitch width to 0 (straight stitching).

Everything you need, nothing you don't!
I wish I would get this as my very first sewing machine. I got a digital Singer instead, with all kind of bells and whistles and way more expensive, and it broke few times within the first year, I was told digital ones are not as reliable. After two years of sewing, I realized that this machine has everything I need and nothing I don't. And it can easily sew through heavy fabric and many layers, which I learned is the most important thing I want my sewing machine to be able to do. I'm very happy with it.

A heavy duty Singer. Durable.
Gave as a gift to missionairies teaching girls a skill. It is loved. They are using it to make masks re: Covid-19, aprons, etc. Have had no complaints. Wonderful. Just the kind of quality heavy duty sewing machine they needed. Thank you for having the option for sending it into another country outside the USA.

My Machine arrived EARLY! I've been sewing like a MANIAC!!!
Why did I buy this product from you?The following is my reply to a YouTube Video producer, "Tock Custom" on his channel. This should explain a lot..."Hello, Mr. Tock! I stumbled upon your videos a few days ago, quite by accident really and I watched one just for the hell of it.Then I watched another... Then one after that... Now I seam to be falling for your videos hooks, lining and Singer! You made the subject of sewing not only interesting but fascinating! In fact, I just ordered a Singer 44S Heavy Duty Sewing Machine from Amazon! Should arrive by this Saturday.DAMN YOU, SIR!I am an amateur illustrator, I'm 63 years old, male, retired, living in Colorado. Before viewing your videos, I was content just doing my artwork, riding a bike for recreation and hand sewing defects in my old, worn clothes. Now I feel the need to make my very own Inverness Cloak, a'la Barnabas Collins from "Dark Shadows!" (Something I've always wanted.)Again, "DAMN YOU, SIR!"Anyway, thank you for your inspiration (...grumble, grumble, retch!) and I look forward to whatever you have to show in the near future. If you want to see my artwork, look up the video; "Doc Savage, The Land of Terror!" on YouTube.Ah well, if nothing else at least I can hem my pants by myself now..."Anyway, my machine actually arrived early and I started sewing that day.I did hem a bunch of pants, which did satisfy me quite a bit.I went to a sewing supply and fabric store and bought a lot of things called 'notions'I'm in the middle of a bunch of projects now.Again, I'd like to say to 'Tock Custom,'"DAMN YOU, SIR!!!"

Very good for the price
I needed to sew some drapery fabric that was heavy. This does the job well, and some jean patching as well. My other machine lasted 40 years, so it was time for a new one. I'll be able to make table runners and other home decor items with ease.

Dissatisfied experience with missing items
I ordered this item and am missing all of the items that the description and box says are included for free. I’m also missing key components such as a bobbin holder and extra items. I am highly dissatisfied. I am unable to get started after my purchase to do exactly what I needed to do for with the purchase. I paid full price for this item and expected to get what I paid for and absolutely did not. I’m devastated
