Miami Jackson Makes the Play (A Stepping Stone Book)

My son loved this story. He read the first one and could not wait to start this one. My mother even enjoyed the story. The McKissik’s are favorite authors of ours.

Love the series and reading them with my grandson. So nice yo have a black protagonist in a story he can relate to

I'm sure my Grandson likes his books but delivery was a bit slow. A Christmas gift had to be turned into a Birthday gift but it all worked out.

My students love this book and the first Miami Jackson book too. It’s an easy reading chapter book which I would say is about a second grade reading level. Having African American main characters is a great bonus.

This is an older series. If you are looking for a book for young boys, this is an enjoyable series.
