Better than you think... (here's what to know)
Bought these for myself after many hours of research. All the sub-$100 skates had sketch reviews for quality control, lace eyelets breaking, blades being improperly positioned, etc. No thanks.I like the Roces for:-the looks & style-the soft boot design-the fact that it uses true reinforced eyelets (for the laces), instead of the riveted metal brackets other skates use-and the upper ankle support is a full velcro strap instead of just more lacesThis means getting in and out of the skates is a breeze, and the upper laces don't come undone from normal ankle movement during skating, because the ankle strap is working for you in that area. Brilliant! If you grew up Rollerblading like I did, you will LOVE these skates.IMPORTANT NOTES (don't miss this):1) You WILL want to have these professionally sharpened at your local skate shop/pro shop. Mine was awesome and only charged me ~$15 to sharpen both.2) The blades are barely adequate out of the box, and this is typical for ice skates, since the type of edge you request will be contingent on your skating style. I wore these as delivered and they had very weak traction/bite until they'd been sharpened.3) You WILL want to invest in some kind of gel/comfort insole to protect your feet. I had an unused pair from WalMart for ~$10-15 that fit and perform beautifully. These work well to counter fatigue in your feet.4) Invest in some budget-friendly blade soakers. The little cloth things that cover the blades to remove moisture from them. These can be had for just $10-15 for the pair. Dry your blades after use with a soft towel, then put the little blade soakers on. This will help preserve the integrity of the steel, and keep your skates from snagging on other things in your bag.THE TAKEAWAY:...I'm 6', 220lbs and, using the above recommendations, I was able to skate for 2.5 hours this past weekend with ZERO discomfort in my feet or ankles.Even when the ice turned to garbage from all the young/novice public skaters tearing it up; when my legs turned to jelly from exhaustion...my skates never let me down. Never lost their comfort or bite.I love them. For the price (and for my goals), nothing else comes close.-Texas ice junky

Great value!
The media could not be loaded. My daughter wants to learn to ice skate better, so I bought her a pair of ice skates that weren't too expensive in case her foot grows, and also if she loses interest. She loved the look of them. But also said they were comfortable. The video is of her skating in them for the 1st time recreationally, without having them sharpened. The girl with the white ice skates. She will start her lessons next week, we will get a better feel for them then.

Comfortable and true to size
I’m only a beginner skater, but I am happy with the quality and comfort. I wear a 10.5 shoe and found that the size 11 works with some extra room but no slippage.

Cute, comfortable, and well-made
Great value for the price! I've been skating weekly for 5 months and they've held up beautifully. Breaking them is in quick (true to size) and I've had no problems. The offer minimal ankle support so only 4 stars because I can feel the ankle support getting weaker. Just tie them tighter around the ankle and no problems tho.

Super Comfy
These ice skates offer excellent ankle support and are really comfortable. They are excellent for learner skaters. They also have a design flair to them and are easy to lace up.

Very comfortable
I was using skates from 15 years ago, these are very padded and comfortable. Was hard to find skates under $100 so i felt these were a great deal!

Good Value
I'm not a super experienced skater, and these arey first pair I've bought. Very comfortable and a huge improvement over rentals. Fits true to size and were usable out of the box. Quality of the boot seems like it will hold up for a long time. Feels like a good value for the price paid.

Do Not Buy!!! Bad Seller AND Manufacturer!
Should have zero stars. I bought these skates for my granddaughter for Christmas. In February, the third time she wore them, the blade broke off of the heel where it was welded. Seller said it is a manufacture’s issue and Roce tells me seller should stand by their 2 year warranty. I’m in a run around and stuck with $70 skates that cannot be used or fixed. Not to mentioned a disappointed granddaughter.

Amazing!
These are the only comfort skates with a figure skate blade I’ve managed to find for my size 12 WOMENS very wide feet. These skates are like slippers, it hardly feels like your skating! I’m so happy with these skates. They work great, they do not come sharpened so you will have to have them sharpened.

Very soft boot
One of the best skates ever. So soft and light weight. Just the colour black is for men so there is loads of room so I have had to pack them with sponges. I converted mine into roller skates
