"1984" Has Arrived
The range of content in this book was extraordinary (and yes, it could do with a good proof reader) but get past that, and this book should be mandatory reading for every adult living in the 21st century. In the span of my own mother's lifetime she's gone from having milk delivered by horse and cart to “nanotechnology, robotics, cybernetics, artificial intelligence, life extension, brain enhancement, brain-to-brain interaction, virtual reality, genetic engineering, teleportation, human-machine interfaces and neuromorphic engineering”. It sounds like science fiction but the technologies are not only here, but well-advanced and this book was a terrifying look at our near future. It was also an explanation of why solutions to world problems - hunger, homelessness, etc. (which would appear to be so obvious) are not being implemented. What most of us haven't known (until now) & what this book reveals, is WHY such obvious solutions are not being implemented. It's not because we don't have the solutions or the means. Like everything - it all comes back to money, and the mis-use of power that great wealth brings. Why do we still have millions of people starving when a third of the annual food produced in the world is wasted or thrown away?Every year, consumers in first-world countries waste almost as much food (222 million tonnes) as the entire food production of sub-Saharan Africa (230 million tonnes). We are so technologically advanced yet can't manage to ensure adequate food to every country? This is no accident. When world population rates have been steadily climbing, why are so many couples trying to start a family suddenly having such difficulty conceiving? Population growth in Europe has come to a halt and sperm counts in the average male have fallen by almost half in the last 60 years.Coincidence? How is it that a 4 year old, (or babies who've barely started life) can already have cancer? The answer to all of these questions lies in the manipulation of our food. When food prices have soared 240% in the 10 years since 2007 we have to ask why, and who's profiting.Once grain was deregulated and food was reduced to a commodity like oil it was able to be fully exploited and manipulated by the big Agro-businesses and their fat, well-fed Boards and shareholders. This book does not surmise what MAY happen in the future. It details what HAS happened already and IS happening right now. And it all lies in the immoral, clandestine deals by the rich to make themselves richer while stripping the rest of us of our assets, our health and the means to improve either. The financial global elites in the form of David Rockefeller and his cronies have been quietly making plans to insure their fortunes and ensure their influence (on everything from politics, economics, food production, technology, security, medicines, population control - the list goes on). They have thoroughly manipulated and milked the system for their own personal gain, and in the process have become more powerful than Governments the world over. How is it that these people (and particularly David Rockefeller) are not in jail? We've been a fairly successful species up until now but Rockefeller and his ilk, the global elites, have forever changed the face of mankind in the worst possible ways. Through sheer greed, extreme arrogance, narcissism and megalomania the ultra wealthy have managed to dip their grubby fingers into nearly every pie so that the world today has become a sordid place of dirty deals, scams, engineered crises and catastrophes, manufactured, fake news feeds and a planet in peril. The world as we knew it - with morals, truth and values, and honesty and integrity - is no more. This man is now aged 101 and has just been given his 7th heart transplant.According to the U.S. Gift of Life Donor Program, there are more than 122,000 people waiting for donor organs. An average of 22 people (including children) die every day. There are not enough organs to go around, and those who are in need of a transplant must follow the rules that dictate the waiting list. Special allowances are sometimes made for children, but according to the the United Network for Organ Sharing Donor Program, “Factors such as a patient’s income, celebrity, status, race or ethnic background play no role in determining allocation of organs.”Really? (Unless of course you're seriously filthy rich and can buy your way in).The number of organs being donated are dwindling, and according to the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation “patients should be 70-years-old or younger to be considered for a heart transplant”.Yet a 101-year-old, overweight man who can’t stand without a cane, or walk without a walker, is bumped to the front of the queue - not just once, but 7 times (and this supposedly has nothing to do with status or income). You or I would die waiting. And he gets 7?...it just goes to show who, and how much, great wealth can buy.In 1974 in a Congressional Hearing to probe the suitability of brother Nelson Rockefeller for the position of Vice President in the newly formed Government of Gerald Ford, a cursory probe revealed 15 family employees at the helm of Rockefeller HQ in New York City, who between them were already on the boards of nearly 100 corporations. The family's combined personal wealth at that time was in the vicinity of 70 Billion dollars. And this was 1974.In 1916 grandfather and founder John D. Rockefeller, who started the family's fortunes, became the world’s first billionaire (a sum equivalent to $30 BILLION today). In 1916.When the average weekly wage was about $17, and the average annual income was about $800.Deals behind closed doors, deals buried in the financial pages, and deals dressed up to look in the public interest whose ramifications only become apparent when it's too late; this book pulls together all the extraordinary agreements, contracts and legislation of the past 50 years (even longer) between Governments and the wealthy elite (and the companies they hide behind). Daniel Estulin has done an exceptional job of not only collating these agreements but shedding light on the history leading up to them and the ramifications following them (as well as illuminating the real objectives behind them).Few of them would ever have seen the light of day if the TRUE motives and consequences of such deals had been open to Public scrutiny.Today the world's wealthiest families and individuals have more say than Governments on the direction of everything from Finance, Banking and Economics, to Government Policy, Security, Defence, Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Agriculture and Food Production (including Genetic Modification). They are at the helm and behind every significant major Fortune 500 company, driving world policy. As just one example, the Codex Alimentarius Agreement is a case in point. At 16,000 pages it is intended to make wading through it as difficult a task as any (and to retain and make sense of it even more so). Put together by an obviously-panicked cartel of the world's biggest and most profitable Pharmaceutical companies (under the auspices of the U.N and World Trade Organization) it is designed solely to shackle and ultimately cripple the alternative/natural therapies and supplements market. (And to ensure that you and I can't improve our health or treat illness unless it's through current conventional pharmaceuticals). Its’ last revisions, set to be implemented in 2010 called for the following:* Codex expressly forbids the use of nutrients to “prevent, treat or cure any condition”. (So no vitamin, mineral, herb or supplement can be sold for preventive or therapeutic use, or at potencies capable of doing so).* Herbs have been placed under a closed committee of the WHO where they are now deemed to be “untested drugs”. (And without testing and regulatory approval a drug can't be released to the market). There is only a short list of approved herbs that may be used for specific conditions. Ayurvedic, Tibetan, tribal and other traditional medicines that use herbs and natural substances are to be forbidden.* Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are to be legal in ALL foods and under ALL circumstances.* Codex is to set permissible upper levels for pesticide residues, toxic chemicals, hormones in food and other environmental contaminants that are many times greater than those advocated by chemical and pesticide industry lobby groups.* Codex mandates that all animal feed is to be treated with antibiotics, hormones and growth stimulants (which would sound the death knell for organic, free-range and biodynamic farming).* Codex further mandates that the irradiation of all food will go ahead, despite the arguments of food safety experts. As Daniel Estulin writes in this book - “Codex is a weapon being used to reduce the level of nutrition worldwide. For example, Codex does not set limits for most of the dangerous industrial chemicals that can be used in food production. In 2001, 176 countries including the U.S. decided that twelve highly toxic organic chemicals, (nine of which are pesticides) known as persistent organic pollutants (POPS) were so bad they had to be banned. Under Codex, seven of the nine forbidden POPS will again be allowed into the production of food. All together, Codex allows over 3,275 different pesticides, including those that are suspected carcinogens or endocrine disrupters. There is no consideration of the long-term effects of exposure to mixtures of pesticide residues in food”.How on earth have we agreed to this?Answer - we haven't. WE haven't agreed to any of it.A select few are making decisions purely to benefit THE SELECT FEW. (And you can be sure those individuals aren't eating pesticide-drenched food). These food regulations are in fact the LEGALIZATION of *mandated toxicity and under-nutrition*.The WHO and FAO (Food & Agriculture Organisation) estimate that of the three billion people initially expected to die as a result of Codex, two billion will die from preventable diseases that result from under-nutrition, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and many others. As Canadian doctor William Campbell Douglas II, M.D.states;“The World Health Organization's "CODEX" is a threat to health freedom like nothing we have ever seen before. And this is just the beginning. A Codex-driven pharmaceutical takeover of the natural products industry in Canada is already in full swing. In fact, possession of DHEA (the most abundant hormone in the human body, and, in supplement form, used to treat a wide range of conditions) is now a felony in Canada, carrying the same penalty as possession of crack cocaine".“The ruthlessness of the pharmaceutical industry is clearly evident in this move to monopolize the health food and nutrient business of the entire world”.How is it that our future has come to rest solely in the hands of the rich and privileged? This book details not only the clandestine dealings of Government and the ramifications of disastrous policies that, with the benefit of hindsight, only now become apparent, but also the influence, guiding and implementation of such policies by the wealthy elite - who, for no other reason, are given vast power due to their vast wealth. The Codex Agreement is just one of hundreds (no, probably thousands) of examples of manipulation by the wealthy few for their own personal gain. And this book covers so many of them, across a wide range of sectors. Everything from the manipulation of the world's economy by the banks and Federal Reserve, to the hobbling of competing interests (such as the natural therapies/supplements market), to the withholding and control of food, the inclusion of mass amounts of genetically modified produce and pesticides (that they know full well have carcinogenic effects and the potential to disrupt normal human hormone function - both intended to curb population growth), to the aggressive takeover of other countries for their assets such as oil, the farce of world bodies like the U.N., the League of Nations and the World Trade Organisation and the plans afoot to eventually mine the mineral resources of the Moon (having plundered most of planet Earth’s).These diabolical plans would not have been phased in quite so easily if the populace was aware of them and, once aware of them, began to think critically and oppose them. But (to avoid rousing the sleeping herd) like little children, the mass roll-out of smartphones and technology ensures that we're kept so busy with our “toys” that none of us has time for critical thinking. The phones though were just the diversion, because built into them was also handy mass-surveillance. (And the real genius of this? No hard-sell was necessary; we took it up WILLINGLY). In fact it's an approach that has been so successful, it will become, I suspect, the norm - the modus operandi, of future endeavours aimed at human control. Dress it up to appear to be something we WANT and we'll line up like lambs to the slaughter. The day we agree to remote neural monitoring (the RFID microchip) mankind is REALLY doomed. You may think it's a great safety device to find a lost child (& such emotive selling to the public will be key) but data transmission goes in both directions. There is no way of knowing what will be “uploaded” to your implanted microchip but you can bet it will be sinister. Human micro-chipping would be a disastrous point of no return, and we must NEVER agree to it.The chapter discussing Nanotechnology was truly chilling. The following is an excerpt;“Molecular manufacturing raises the possibility of horrifically effective weapons. As an example, the smallest insect is about 200 microns; this creates a plausible size estimate for a nanotechnology-built antipersonnel weapon capable of seeking out and injecting toxin into an unprotected human. The human lethal dose of botulism toxin is about 100 nanograms, or about 1/100 the volume of the weapon. As many as 50 billion toxin-carrying devices—theoretically enough to kill every human on earth—could be packed into a single suitcase. These nanobots are small enough to inhale, small enough to enter your body through your skin, small enough to circulate in the body, and cross the blood brain barrier. They can be spread through food and water, and be programmed to kill only certain ethnicities. In a well-written piece on Nanotechnological Weapons, Kevin Robert Baker reports, “a nanobot could be dropped into someone’s food. It only takes 100 nanograms of Botulism to kill a human. The nanobot can wait until it has reached the brain, and then deploy its payload. The results would be flawless and devastating”.In stealth operations the nanobot could induce strokes or any number of other body failures. A nanobot can destroy an artery in the brain, or an optic or spinal nerve. They are fully programmable.Nanobots were created to be like life. To be able to reproduce and to serve our needs. The intelligence of nanotech will not be in one nanobot. It will be a collective intelligence of trillions of nanobots working together and pooling their thinking resources. Dr. John Alexander, adviser to U.S. Special Operations said “You can program nanobots specifically so that they attack only people with certain [racial] characteristics. They can be sent out to take out people in the most secure [or obscure] locations. Once programmed, nothing would stop them”.But can we control them? The fear is that to breed, they will need organic material – which is everywhere. This means, they may reproduce themselves. And as their numbers increase, they can turn on the environment around them – as they begin to take on a life of their own. These nano weapons attack a target at the molecular level, and then use the molecules of their target as raw materials to replicate more copies of themselves. In this way, small amounts of these replicators could have the capacity to destroy large targets very quickly. They could devour plants, animals, and ultimately, people. This is how wars may be fought in the years to come. Can this be our future? The geopolitical predictions of the Strategic Trends Report are no less terrifying:“The exponential growth of molecular nanotechnology (MNT) would destroy the economy, job markets, and much more. The black market would flourish, and countries would break away from alliances under the new power of MNT. The UN would cease to have any control over international problems. And all these things would be happening while inevitably waiting for nano-machines to create a doomsday scenario. This scenario is known as an ecophagy (the consumption of an ecosystem). Imagine a world where self-replicating nano robots consume all matter on earth while exponentially duplicating.”Combine this possibility with the ultimate goal of merging man and machine, and removing unpredictable and inconvenient behaviours from the masses like individual reproduction, or emotions like willfulness, rebellion or indignation. Or the things that make us uniquely human like the powers of cognition and free will.“This is a template for “post humanity,” the ultimate slave race, scientifically designed to never rebel, to make us happy in our servitude, and the wholesale disappearance of the human being and his or her divine spark of reason”.Our frightening future looks truly ominous and leaves no doubt that humans will be the authors of their own extinction. We're already battling a Genie let loose from its’ bottle.Aldous Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ is here and is the antithesis of “brave”.Men lacking anything relating to honesty, morals and integrity prey upon those they can (and that's most of us because - in order to compete, you must first have amassed a fortune by taking from the poor to give to the rich).George Orwell’s ‘1984’ was not a novel but an augury of things to come; an uncanny prophecy of exactly these times in which we now live. Where opinion or dissent is decried as either “racism” or “conspiracy theory”, where “political correctness” is just another phrase for turning-a-blind-eye-to-a-cover-up, where official deception, secret surveillance, and manipulation of recorded history are now the norm and where Governments manufacture and engineer their own terrorist attacks to keep the population in a perpetual state of fear and thus willing to give up their rights in exchange for “protection”.The only thing George Orwell got wrong was the timing; in his novel events began following WWII and were in full force by 1984. In reality the initial plans were set in motion following WWII and beyond, but took a little more time to develop and advance. Now we are living amidst the nightmare of ‘1984 - A Brave New World’.But the really terrifying thing is that we're only at the beginning.Your children and grandchildren will live to see these plans in full maturity.God help them.

CUTTING EDGE AND MINDBLOWING...BUT NO LOVE FOR RUPPERT?
This is a mind expanding book full of neat ideas and troubling, depressing information. I would give it 5 stars for its consise yet comprehensive overview of the new technologies the elite have in store for us to crush freedom and dissent. However, I can't because:1. It badly needs a proof reader (DAVID Cameron, director of Avatar? umm, no that would be JAMES Cameron); (scares resources? umm, no, SCARCE resources)2. Entire passages from Crossing the Rubicon by Michael Ruppert seem to have been, um, "appropriated" for use in the section on PROMIS without footnotes or any attribution. The book overall is excellent and the information therein is urgent and disturbing. But the execution is sloppy. Still a recommended read as long as some of the royalties go to Mr. Ruppert.

TransEvolution is revealing and eye opening
Mr. Estulin has managed to compose a readable yet intricate book discussing the world through the eyes of the elites, and the ramifications of this distorted vision. The pages discuss the world economy (I found his breakdown of the 2009 bailout particularly interesting) and the destructive end results of using GMOs in our food supply. I had no idea that 70% or more of the food in the United States was processed with GMO seeds. I found everything in the book to be very pertinent to the lives of the 99% and extend a sincere thank you to Daniel Estulin for providing this fantastic read.

This Book Speaks Reality
Ironically bought this from Amazon. But ending up knowing about the interlocked 1 World Company. You need to open your eyes to the world around you and understand that this doesn't come by accident, rather it's by design.

Trans humanism and population reduction is in effect
Great writing once again with deep research and true history

Amazing! Period.
ALL of Daniel Estulins books are great. For me, I am not that great at reading very long books. This fit the par, but I must say every book he writes I have read, and they are all great.

A very provocative read
A very informative book. I gained a lot of knowledge from it. I am not completely sold on everything I read, but we'll worth your time. The global elite cannot be trusted!

This book really lays out this insidious agenda like no author can
As usual with Estulin-AMAZING! This book really lays out this insidious agenda like no author can. Truly a must read for connecting the dots!

Interesting. Especially the part about the rise in oil ...
Interesting. Especially the part about the rise in oil prices in the 1970's (the 1% were responsible for that, not OPEC).

Informative but too pessimistic
A good book but as another reviewer said, it's not all doom and gloom. Very informative but the conclusions it draws - that humanity is unfortunately doomed, is silly. Humanity is just a biological response to evolutionary constraints, and if we can get over those evolutionary constraints through technological means, why not? And we cannot give individuals so much technological power without stopping them destroying everyone else. What happens when people can make homemade nuclear weapons with 3d printers? At that level of technological permeation and advancement, the government must keep a watch over people to stop them doing stupid things. No technology comes without responsibility, and today computers can be used to learn horrible knowledge that can be implemented to do horrible things. How to make bombs, how to make explosives, then used by terrorists to cause harm.I think Daniel Estulin underestimates how much harm truly free information can do, and overestimates how much the government cares about the little things and little people.
