Amazing
The sounds ringing in my ears were constant.. a shrill, high pitched cry. Was it the banshee? But, wait.. I am in inner city Baltimore. It must be my dogs, making me crazy again. So many attempts at so many things.. yelling, ignoring, wine poured out to the gods, to no avail! Then I found this collar. It was kind - vibrating no worse than an older cell phone, ultrasonic sound I could just make out. It fit nicely on my Corgi's neck - at two years old it was just able to pull small enough. But the change was amazing. I used it when I was home regularly for about two weeks, and still use it when expecting knockers at the door, but otherwise the shrill calls of the dog kind are lessened. The collar allowed for Corgi "talk" and quieter/deeper woofs, and would sometimes be set of by vigorous play or headshakes. But the difference is amazing and my ears thank me. My corgi has always been responsive to sounds and eager to please, which helped. But no longer does the song of his people make my ears bleed.

a few false alarms, but works great for our 6 year old french bulldog
Our frenchie goes BALLISTIC when the fed ex man comes or anyone walks by our house…I imagine it doesn't work for all dogs, but at this price its certainly worth trying first. It just throws him off a little, distracts him, and I'd say we have half the barking we had, maybe even better than that. Pretty good for $30 and no shocks! I'll take it.We do have false alarms sometimes…when the baby yells too much, or he scratches his ears sometimes he sets it off…so we don't use it when we're not home and we remove it when the environment in the house is loud. But its not a huge issue, and certainly better than a shock!

Works but watch out
This collar does work. It came in black instead of blue. Also watch out because you have to remove other tags if the dog shakes its head the chimes of the ID tags sets it off. The beep it makes can be heard with human ears and the vibration is low. I found the dog repeller to be more useful for controlling barking than this because atleast with the dog repeller i can hit the button for a second to correct the barking instead of the collar which goes off for 5 seconds

this is a very good product.
I had one of these no-bark collars before. It lasted about 5 yrs. I saw some reviews that were negative, but I just want to say I have had very good luck with mine and hope my new one lasts as long as the old one. Do not forget to shut it off every time you are finished with it. I had luck using the buzz option and always used it on low. By the way, it worked on my shepherd and now I have the new one for my labrador retriever. It is quite humane.

Works without pain
This collar works pretty well. My 12 year old lab is starting to have separation anxiety. Didn't want a shock collar. This works with absolutely no pain, just vibration or beeping. The one main problem is that you have to remember to turn it off or the batteries run out. I bought a big pack of batteries from amazon for about $11. Also, you can't use a regular collar at the same time. The tags make the collar react.

It worked once
We bought this for our pit bull mix that we rescued from an awful situation. He had severe separation anxiety causing him to scream when we weren't home and when we got back. With lots of patience and training we got him to quit screaming when we weren't home but had no success in getting him to stop when we got back home. The first time this vibrated, it kind of scared him but after that, it did not phase him at all. Totally useless. We ended up buying the Dogtek Electronic Bark Control Dog Collar and it has been just what we needed!

Worked on my lab!
I bought this collar for my 2 year old Labrador Retriever because he kept barking at my neighbors while they were outside and he could see/hear them through my fence. I only had to use this collar about 5 times (only while he was outside) and he picked up very quickly. Now when he barks outside, all I have to do is show it to him or ask him if I want to put it on him?, and he will stop. It worked well on the low beep and also the low vibration. He's about 85lbs and it fit fine with plenty of extra slack.
