Highly recommend to board game loving families!
Trying to empower my son with a gift I was never given (and had to learn the hard way) ~ financial literacy 🤌🏼✨. One of the tools I discovered is this awesome board game. Highly recommend it to any board game loving families. Says for ages 14+, but my kiddo is 9 and reallllly into it, asks to play it every chance he gets. Great intro to stocks, real estate investing, gold, mutual funds, CDs, small businesses, good & bad debt, taxes, spending / budgeting, and bookkeeping(I swear I have no affiliation whatsoever with this game or its makers... just a genuine fan)! At the beginning of the game you randomly draw a profession card that lays out your salary and base cash flow (includes car payment, primary home mortgage, student loans, credit card payment, etc...) Everything else is from opportunities and decisions made during game play. It may sound "dry"... but it's seriously fun, well designed, and real life educational. A+++

Overall, a fun and educational game
I liked the game. I got it to play with my nephews who are 11 and 8, who love Monopoly. I did have to help them a bit but they were able to follow along once they caught on. A few times it got emotional for them but overall they enjoyed it and we finished the game after 3 hours. It was really funny watching them run into the other room and tell their mom "ah man, I got another kid!" or "I just earned $10,000!!" lol. I liked how the 8 year old, who was a lowly mechanic in the game, complained that his 11 year old brother was a lawyer that earned 3x more every payday—only to be the one to win anyways lol.I'd say negatives, besides cost, are that there should be dividers to help organize the money when putting it away. Also, it would be better if the fast track followed the same pattern as the rat race. It starts you off earning 100x the cash flow you had in the rat race which doesn't make any sense. That makes that part unrealistic unless you were starting the fast track like 20 years later. I did try playing by myself with 100x the cash flow and it will still work but takes quite a bit longer. But overall it's a fun game, it gets you thinking and using your math skills. They have wanted to schedule a time to play again and I'm looking forward to it as well.

Love it. An expensive game but we are hoping that the game itself becomes an asset for our family and not a liability!! We have been playing with our kids, 7 yrs old-17. All good! There were some things as far as the instruction goes that we either had to make up ourselves or look up again and again, because it kind of didn't make sense. But all in all, it's a great game, and we really enjoy this guy's youtube videos, minus the cussing;) if you're reading this, sir... start making youtube videos that are more kid friendly, we're trying to prep the generations below us for financial success!!

Great game!!!
Bought this to accompany the Rich Dad Poor Dad book that I'm reading with my 13 year old and nephews. Right out of the gate, this tool is great at rewiring what it means to win "the game." It exposes weaknesses in financial acumen and forces quick changes. For what it teaches, in the easiest way possible, it's worth its price.

It's a cute game, but my 8-year-old can handle the grown-up game better.
Sure, my 8-year-old does really understand stocks and such, but he's more than happy to invest in the real estate opportunities in Cashflow 101. It's just that the 101 game lasts too long and he loses focus. So I bought this kid's version and it's much simpler, but it really doesn't drive home the same lessons. (I love hearing him exclaim "Babies are too expensive!" when we play the 101 game!) The kid game has very low-stakes doodads and everyone ends up a winner. So it's a nice intro to counting and spending money, but no real accounting happens. Still, for very little kids, it's a good pastime.

Real life simulation!
We started playing this game with friends just yesterday night, and immediately felt bound to it; couldn’t stop playing for 4 hours! It brings you in a simulation of the real world finances, and shows in simple terms how you can manage them, and what it really takes from a person to chase their dream. We will play again and again. I seriously think it’s the best tabletop game that I ever played.
