Everyday Use (Women Writers)

Excellent work of literature by Alice Walker and very relevant to the present day.

I read this for my class, it was a great read.

I used it for English Lit. I downloaded it on my kindle. I had 4 books for that class and their were all on my kindle! Talking about not having a heavy ass book bag!

I had hoped some other short stories would be included as a collection rather than such an analogy of this one story.

This book worked grwat fro teaching summary and main idea and detail. Plus it gave my kids and introduction to the author

Everyday Use (Women Writers) Walker's iconic short story about our changing times. I use this in several of the courses I teach. Each class ends up arguing over who is right.

Enjoyed the flow of the language used in this book
