Suitable for long nosed greyhounds (size M/XL)
This fitted my greyhound perfectly. She wasn’t bothered by it and it was effective in making her leave the cut on her leg alone. She was quite relaxed and slept well. She is completely better now and the cone is still in excellent condition if she ever needs to wear it again. Well worth the fairly high price.

Good quality, looks comfy.
Good quality, looks to be a comfy collar, but sadly I had to return as the size ( Medium Extra Long ), was too small for my Irish Setter. As it came from abroad it was a bit of a flaff to return, which was the only reason I did'nt reorder. Tried everywhere but it was'nt available in uk.

Comfy cone
Following a recommendation by a friend, we bought the medium extra long for our greyhound (skinny neck with a long snoot) since the clear plastic alternative offered by the vet didn’t appear to fit very well for our breed of dog. Whilst this one did work out better, our dog did discover that when standing he could still reach the end of the cone down to his front paw due to his long narrow neck, so it wasn’t quite a complete solution (hence the drop of one star) and at times we resorted to using a combination of this and his muzzle to prevent wound licking.I wasn’t sure how he would be with the non-transparent aspect of this cone, however he seemed to adapt well and indeed I wonder if it calmed him a bit since he wasn’t seeing everything around him through a weird plastic. The padded aspect of the cone seemed to appeal for sleeping with it on and a quick wipe down with an anti bac wipe to remove slavers every so often seemed to do the trick.

God Send
Size is perfect for my massive dogue de Bordeaux who just had his eye removed. He has a 28” neck and I couldn’t find one anywhere else to fit him, other ones I ordered in xxl were all too small. So easy to keep clean, wipes down with hot soapy water and drys quick. So comfortable my boy sleeps like a log now after struggling with the plastic cone the vet provided, and no more cracking ,jarring ,plastic cone because of him ramming walls doors and furniture , they are all safe now , as well as my legs, as it absorbs the shock well.Very secure , just feed collar through the elastic and then fasten the strong Velcro, my big strong boy cannot remove his , and its not through lack of trying. All in all, a great buy!Pricey, but the quality in comparison to similar products is 2nd to none!Only thing I would suggest is that they include more strips to cover all the exposed Velcro , as when it is on the largest setting like his is , you only get one with it so the other ones end up hairy 😊.

waste of money
I was looking for a soft cone for my dog as she needs to wear it long term to stop her chewing an open sore on her back paw,There is a real gap in the market for this!I thought that this cone might have answered the difficulties but it was not a good fit. It was long enough and it was more comfortable for her than the rigid plastic cone. It is fastened with velcro and that popped open and she soon learnt how to undo it. The cone was very expensive for what it was and ended up being a waste of money.

Useful
In the end this (Small, Long, trimmed by about an inch) was the only cone long enough to stop my cat licking her wounded tail. She preferred the plastic cone as it allowed better visibility but needs must. After a month of bandages and plastic cones (that failed to stop her licking) the Small Long Comfy Cone was the only reason she didn’t have to have the infected tail amputated. The elastic loops stretched and she escaped a couple of times, meaning I ended up using a non-safety collar without the break to hold the collar on.

Stays on and stops access to the healing area
Best cone ever ever ever can't recommend enough. My big Newfie boy weighing in at 74.5kg had to have an operation on his back leg and this did the trick perfectly, it withstood his many attempts to force it off by ramming it against all my kitchen cupboard door knobs, which ended up coming off the doors. However the hood still survived and is still surviving up to 4 wks later. He now has dry skin by his tail after all the antibiotics etc which he keeps biting so the hood has had to go back on until this clears up.

It solved the problem
Daisy was able to turn round and chew her tail region in her other soft collar. The original one had been fine for stopping her nibbling her back but was just too short. Thankfully this collar was small enough for her neck measurement but extended beyond her nose. Small, long. A bit more expensive but the only collar I could find with this dual fitting.

The Best Dog Cone!
This is by far the absolute best cone for my dog, and worth every penny! The cone is made of soft cushioned material that is easily wiped clean, and the bonus is light reflective trim, great for night time walks. I have a large East-European Shepherd with a long reaching snout that can manage to over reach other cone lengths. This cone is fantastic as it is longer than my dog's snout reach, so he's not able to lick or chew at wound site. It is sturdy and does not crack or shatter like plastic cones, plus it is soft and comfy like a pillow to lie down on, and does not rub or irritate his neck. Also, this cone does not damage your wall paint or furniture, like the hard plastic cones, when your pet clumsily bumps something when playing or turning around. We attached it's elastic loops to his collar which make it really easy for us to put on and take off when we want. You don't need to remove it during mealtime, but we do because he's a tad messy eater, but he looks forward to getting his cone back on, its like a special collar pillow and he likes wearing it! *he really disliked wearing the hard plastic cones.

Ottimo prodotto

Comfy cone
I hate putting cones on my dogs, but sometimes, there's just no alternative. This cone is comfier than the old plastic one, and although my dog hates it, he doesn't seem to hate is as much as the old one. If it can make healing go faster, than it's worth it!

Works like a charm!
Got this for my pup after his neutering surgery. The cone from the vet was one of the most plastic ones and it seemed really uncomfortable for him, so we switched him to the comfy cone. We tried the donut and other cone types but this one worked the best. He was able to reach his incisions with the other methods and the donut was no use, waste of money really. The comfy cone allowed my pup to lay down with no problem and it prevented him from licking his incisions. He didn't seem to mind wearing it, but it did get in the way of him eating and drinking. We would take the cone off for a brief moment to allow him to eat and drink but would have it back on once he is finished. It's been a year since his neuter and we still keep the cone on standby in case our pups (we have 2) need it. Our older dog like to lick his paws often, daily to be exact, but he is pretty good at stopping when we tell him to, but on occasions, he will lick his paws for long periods of time and not stop despite our warnings, so we use the cone to prevent him from licking his paws too much.We ll continue to use the cone for miscellaneous uses outside of surgeries or medical related problems. Humans love it, pups not so much. Highly recommend!
