Nice
This is a nice blanket, and warm , my nasty old cat likes it and I only get it when he didn’t park his butt on it

Blanket smells like motor oil
Opened the bag up and instantly smelled a strong odor of oil. The whole blanket smells like it was soaked in it. Don’t buy this blanket

Not what I expected
I was expecting a 1.2lb blanket but it turned out to be more like 5lbs. The pictures look a whole lot better than what you actually get, it is not all one color and reminds me of something you would find in an attic for insulation or in a garage? It seems very warm and durable. I wouldn't call this a blanket but a piece of material that could be used for outdoor things.

Do not buy.
Washed once as per directions and it basically disintegrated in the dryer. What's left of it smells like chemicals. I'll be donating it to the less fortunate.

I’m very happy with my purchase!
I gave it 1 star for “softness” because it’s wool...wool is never soft! Ha haThis blanket is pretty damn nice actually. I purchased it for a camping trip and it was perfect. It’s a nice large size and keeps me very warm.

Warm but has a funky smell
The blanket is certainly warm enough and large enough. It has a chemical odor that washing did not eliminate.

Bleeds when wet
It’s fine for what I bought it for - a warm layer for lunch breaks during hikes.I did not follow washing instructions, but as other reviews mention, there is a smell when it’s new, so I did a hot water wash and dry before I used it. I had an old towel in the wash with the blanket - and it was dyed a lovely shade of blue when the cycle was complete. No big deal, it was an old towel. However, caught in a bit of snow during a hike, the blanket got wet and left blue streaks down my beige coat. Another hot wash, and it’s still bleeding. It’s now a dry-weather only blanket. Ah well...

not as good as they used to be
they have made the thread count lower so the blanket is much rougher, and the plastic they are using for the percent that isnt wool, has silver flecks of tinsel through it. this problem was the same across the 3 blankets i bought in this order.also this is the same as the other blankets i ordered last time, but they are still a few inches shy on both dimensions of the length and width stated.Update:The price when i bought these was about 14 dollars, they have since more than doubled to 30 dollars, at that price it is absolutely not worth it, go get some 80% wool ones at the same price point.

Toxic smell
Washed it twice now and still smells like lighter fluid. Also both times in the dryer it filled the whole lint trap. Good size though, hopefully airs out enough for camping.

don't buy
I tried to wash it before use but lots of fibres come out and it is difficult to clean my dryer.... should note this in the description.
