Been using this safe for a couple of years now live the mail style drop tray very well made product easy to use and bolt to ground. Highly recommended

With a few modifications, this safe is working EXCELLENTLY as a quarter depository. Instructions were clear, pinpad is easy to use, and everything has dropped down from the deposit drawer smoothly.

I will say that the packaging was less than sub-par and the parcel company dropped it many, many times... came chipped, corners beat-up and scratched.15% of the box missing.

Please note that I'm reviewing the manufacturer, not the dealer who's selling this via Amazon. After four months of use, the digital keypad to the safe is shot and I'm hopelessly locked out (I run a restaurant and need to get into the safe continually throughout the day, seven days per week.) So for starters, this safe's digital keypad is probably too lightweight for people using the safe daily. But more than that, my experience with Mesa's technical support in the last 48 hours has been abysmal. I've spent almost two hours on hold, received just one troubleshooting sheet via email, faxed and emailed them proofs of purchase and the serial number, and encountered no one who showed any interest in helping me solve my problem in an expedient manner (it's not a good sign that Mesa's tech-support people are constantly on the line with customers all day long.) They have no relationships with local dealers (in NYC, a pretty big town) who might be able to come on-site or sell me a keypad directly. I'm currently waiting 3-4 days for a new keypad to arrive (have they heard of overnight shipping?) and hoping that at that point, I'll be able to access my cash and employee's paychecks.

We had this safe in our store. Worked well until it was stolen this year. Only caveat was that if the batteries got low, would have to enter the code a few times to get it to "take".Mesa Safe had arranged to have it bolted to the floor back in 2009. It was an awesome safe until that time.Police say it was a professional job that came in and took the safe and the recording equipment. Would definately buy it again.

I manage 6 businesses and use this style safe in all of them. Very well constructed and reasonably priced.

Already purchased 3 of these. Excellent and very pleased. Mesa Safes are the king of safes. Will be looking to purchase number 4.
