works, looks nice, cheap, really shiny the cheapest alternative for my ps3(you can send audio out bout av and hdmi at same time). was nice having my ps3 on my lcd monitor and pc speakers :P

Duped with a faulty product in an opened package.
This product just arrived in a package that has already been opened. Unfortunately, I believe I was sold a defective return from another customer as it does not work.

Looked good till it broke in only 2 days
I bought this to replace the monster Hdmi to Dvi adapter I had that lasted over 4 years, and only broke because I broke it myself by accident. I bought this thinking its cheaper and digital is digital it can't hurt. Well yes it worked well till I moved my PS3 just once to clean the dust on my entertainment set up and all of a sudden no more signal. To get it to work I have to swivel it around in the ps3 hdmi port and hope I might get a signal. looks great on outside with metal shell and all, however clearly the interior mechanisms are assembled poorly. Now I have to order the monster again and wait!!

worked great for 1 year
I bought 3 of these from best buy last year. So far, 2 of them have failed without reason. The units they were connected to were in a locked case and were not moved prior to the malfunctions. They simply stopped displaying a signal after a while.
