Very effective adhesive remover
Goo Gone Original works really well. It removes stickers, labels, tape residue, and even sticky glue without damaging surfaces. The liquid is easy to apply, and it cleans up stubborn spots like chewing gum, crayon marks, and grease. Very handy to have around the house for cleaning and DIY projects. Highly satisfied with this purchase!

Works great! The little scrapper that comes with it is perfect for completing residue removal!

Reliable and worth the money...
I have used this product to remove silicone residue from my tile showers after the shower doors were removed and eventually replaced. Goo Gone works best for me when I apply it to a tile surface (using a spray bottle to create a mist) and let it soak overnight. The next morning, I have little or no trouble removing the old residue using a plastic scraper (thus avoiding damaging the tile with a metal one). I can only speak for its use with silicone as that is the only time I have used their product.

Useful For Every Home
Been using this for many years. Works well and doesn't do damage to most things. First thing to do is test it to make sure. Smells good. Bottle came with a weird permanent dent in it and it does cost more than a box store so most likely from this point on I'll get it somewhere else. But if you can't it's definitely worth having around the house.

Excellent Product
This stuff works! I have used it on so many different things to get stuff off of them and it doesn't disappoint. A little bit goes a long way. It's not sticky but more like an oil. I love it and it's a must have in your home.

UPDATED: DESTROYED MONSTER GLUE TRAP! 10 Granny Gems!!
Pro: This is an original formula and works great as described. I've used it to remove stubborn adhesive sticker residue for years. I already removed the old stickers pasted on glass and hard plastic coffee cups, but that annoying glue film just wouldn't go away until I used Goo Gone Original Liquid - 8 Ounce on it. Good New!! I have now used the free plastic scraper to remove a MONSTER of a glue pad (designed to capture mice! ) that had been left outside on the sidewalk I was sweeping and I didn't see it until I'd accidentally stepped on it. A neighbor pointed it out to me just as I finished sweeping and we saw that it was partially stuck to the sole of my rubber Crocs sandal shoe. Taking the shoe off, we both attempted to pull the cardboard glue thing off and the more we pulled, the more the glue seemed to stretch, and refused to release! It took the two of us several minutes just to get it off piece by piece. At least I didn't walk into my home with it still stuck on. I know this product isn't supposed to be used on rubber, but Crocs are expensive and I had nothing to lose by attempting to clean off this MONSTER glue from my sandal. Wearing disposable gloves, I first applied it with a lot of paper towels to dissolve and wipe off most of the glue. It worked, but it still was not usable to walk on my carpeted or vinyl floors, so I used the free plastic scraper to push the residue together, then more product, more paper towels, and YES, SUCCESS! As always, I finished up with Dawn dish washing soap and rinsed it off. The whole process took me an hour, so no one can claim it doesn't take perseverance and determination when you encounter a bizarre experience like that! Ha! Retired seniors on a limited income will appreciate this review. I know this review update was long, but I'm sure that folks that have run into 'Oh no!' situations like mine will at least have hope in saving an object that gets stuck with a gluey mess. I'm very happy with the product and still continue to highly recommend it. Thanks Amazon! Con: I seriously dislike that the bottle no longer has the plastic cap with the small hole in the dispenser like the original one had! I had read the reviews from others that complained about this once they removed the paper label tab and discovered it had changed, so now I use a chopstick and poke a hole in the top seal to slow down the amount it would pour out. It helps but still not as good as the previous pour spout it used to have that didn't leak if it got knocked over. The new cap is a push down type 'turn to open,' and to close it is easy enough even with arthritis. You know it's truly closed when the cap stops spinning and making clicking noises.

Fazit: Ein absolutes Muss in jedem Putzschrank. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Photo shows area of window treated on the left / untreated area on the right. Last year we bought insect netting for our PVC windows, which we attached with the Velcro-like strips provided. Unfortunately, the Velcro strips came away but left a VERY difficult-to-remove glue residue, which was either extremely sticky or dried rock-hard. Dirt and dust was getting stuck to it, and the glue would not budge. After much distress and desperate Googling, we came across this Goo Gone product and THANK GOD we did! I was sceptical anything could shift that glue, but this stuff really works! We applied copious amounts to tissue/kitchen roll and 'soaked' the gluey surface for a few minutes before attacking with a special plastic scraper. (There's one provided, but we bought an additional one with replacement blades). Sometimes reapplication was required for the tougher spots, but the difference it made was incredible. It took a lot of patience (working on small sections at a time) but the window frames look almost as good as new - and most importantly, are no longer sticky! The product feels very oily but smells quite nice! We simply wiped off the residue and then wiped again with warm water and detergent to remove any lingering oilyness.
