Dorman 741-100 Front Driver Side Power Window Regulator And Motor Assembly Compatible with Select Hyundai / Kia Models

This replacement part worked great for my 2005 Hyundai Sonata. It was pretty quick to replace, following along with a few videos I watched on Youtube. The local parts store wanted about $120 for this part, so buying it here on Amazon was a no-brainer!

I bought this to replace the window regulator in my 2004 Kia Optima and it DOES NOT FIT THE WINDOW. the plastic piece that moves the window up and down is too thick and puts too much pressure on the window when attached to move it. The motor eventually gets too hot and stops moving the window at all. I was told to buy a Cardone 82-4505E instead for this particular car model because it is more specific and is closer to the OE and not a generic part such as this. I'm sure it works great in other cars if it fits though! It seems durable and well made. It just does not fit my car.

Sent the wrong side or the part did not actually fit my model. Had to do significant forcing to install

We bought a 2003 Hyundai Sonata for our son and noticed the driver side window would not roll up or down. We took it to a mechanic who said the window assembly was missing - it was being held together with baling wire. He quoted $600 for the repair. We bought this replacement and after spending a few hours in the driveway, my son now has a functional window again. We are very happy.

I mean what more can you ask for? I replaced my driver side regulator on my 2000 hyundai Sonata. This is the exact part I needed. Was the hardest thing to replace but Hyundai sure doesn't try to make it easy.
