Buy for the tool but get other snaps
The tool itself works great but the snaps that come with it are junk. Use this to make a canvas cover for my boat. I used the snaps that came with it to practice with before using better ones on my actual project.

Easy to use
The instructions are in broken English, and really don’t show you what’s what. There are a few pictures that help. We bought this to replace snaps on our boat cushions, so we knew what we needed. Otherwise , could be confusing if you’ve never done snaps or snap replacements. Otherwise, it’s sturdy, easy to use, ya just need to kinda know what your doing.

Only 10 screw snaps included
The installation worked excellent, however, only 10 snaps are included that have the screw base. Be aware if you have a larger project. You will need to order extra snaps with the screw base and top. Other than the minimal amount of snap material this is a really good product and easy to use. For the price there should’ve been a couple of dozen snaps included.

Don't buy if you never used one before.
I have never used a tool like this before. The instructions are not sufficient for a new person to successfully operate this tool. I was just grasping at straws, and sort of got it to work. Not worth it for the frustration. I want a tool that works and tells me how to properly use the tool. Not here are sone pictures on Amazon and you figure it out.

Good but the insert with the gasket does not hold.
It gets the job done. However, the only thing I wish was it had a magnetic holder for the crimp attachment. Mine has the rubber gasket but does not really hold as well as I would like. If you are on a boat like me and you are trying to crimp seat cushions and you lose this piece its kind of useless.

Product failed after 5 uses. Used it to replace snap fasteners on my boat cover. Will not work at all. Certainly not of vsegrip standards which they are trying to imitate.I am very disappointed with amazon. When the seller and manufacturer fail the client then I expect Amazon to help.This product is advertised with a 90 day money back guarantee.
