Prestige MedicalColormate Stainless Steel Kelly Forceps, Teal

We bought this hemostat to help put on rubber bands for braces. It was impossible for my teen to get the bands on with her fingers and the plastic tool the Ortho gave us. They use a hemostat in the office, so we grabbed this one. Makes it a lot easier. The rubberized handles make them easy to grip. They are "small" which is good. They look larger on the picture. I bought 8" hemostats too just in case, but we only have used this pair. Really good quality and a very, very good price.

This is my 3rd pair of these hemostats and the only reason I have had to buy new ones is I keep losing them at work! They are wonderful, I will re-buy this brand as long as they are around. Works great for unscrewing difficult IV tubing. Fits in my scrub pocket and easy to use. Love the fun colors too!

I use these for bagging out waistbands/collars and turning small seams when sewing. They work as expected, are lightweight and cute because of the purple handle. Four stars because mine are a bit sharp at the tip and that can sometimes snag my fabric. This could probably be easily fixed with a nail file but I haven't tried.

Absolutely my favorite forceps. I use these daily to unscrew too tight IV connections, tubing, etc or wherever an extra grip or hand is needed. I love that they come in a variety of colors (for personal identification). I am constantly disinfecting my own (I carry 2 in my scrub pocket each shift) and they are holding up fine. I've had other forceps which were heavier and really just didn't get the job done. These are thin, lightweight and have a nice grip on them. No complaints or regrets!

I use these for stuffing my handmade items, and am lost without it!

I have bought forceps from other companies that were difficult to open or clamp. These work smoothly, no problems and when someone at work borrows them at work and forgets to return them, the color makes them easy to track down and get them back, LOL.

These Prestige Medical Colormate Stainless Steel Kelly Forceps are the greatest forceps you will ever want. They come in three different colors and the workmanship are made very good. The ends are straight, just what I was wanting. No matter which way you pick them up, they are ready to be used versus if they were curved on the ends, you'd have to turn them around. The handles lock when you need them to. They are easy to work with. I love them.

I received these promptly and pulled them from the package on my way out the door headed to work. When I pulled them out to use them the first time I noticed they were scuff and thought maybe I had done it to while they were floating around my pocket. Upon closer inspection I noticed the teeth were sheared off on one side and they were obviously used. There were scratches on the handles, and midsection. When I got home I checked the package to discover what appears to be a scissors package. Or a curved kelly clamp perhaps? Either way, I'm keeping them because it's too much of a hassle to return them but I'm slightly disappointed.

had these for a while now and there still doing great. I use them for paracord gear from readytogear[dot com] and even after putting lots of pressure pn them and twisting them many many times they are still in perfect working condition. (i say working condition because the green on the handle has scratches but that is just normal wear and tear.)great forceps and much better then many i've purchased in the past.will be getting more soon.

Very happy with purchase. They lock well, hold well, and survived quite a few flame sterilizations. And the teal color is a nice change ;)The color did flake a little bit where they lock, but that was only for the firsts uses. And it was very little.

I use it in my grooming business to make it easier to put bows in dog fur. It works great
