Very comfortable
Really easy to put together. A nice overall shape but very loose. I used a fine linen which drapes well but you wouldn't want a crisper or firmer fabric. I think the pants would balloon too much. Good for hot weather or lounging at home. Soft silk would also work for a smarter effect.

No separate booklet for instructions
Really disappointed that with a premium pattern that cost £16 the instructions arent on a seperate booklet or notes. Also didnt come in an envelope or sleeve to keep your pattern in.I’ve not had time to try and make it yet so will edit and add when i do.

Good quality of paper and trendy style.
I already had this pattern in a larger size for myself but my granddaughter liked it so I ordered the smaller size for her. These patterns are printed on paper - not the flimsy tissue paper the majority of patterns are made from. Therefore they can be used multiple times without falling apart. I have yet to make the garments..waiting on fabric to arrive so I cannot comment on the fit. Delivery was speedy.

Easy to make
The trousers were easy to make . They come up very big so depending how wide you want the sides you could come down two sizes.Paper pattern easy to work with

not what I excpected
This is a harem pants pattern with a long dropped crotch and very ballooned legs. I've just finished them and, to be honest, I am very disappointed. I should've looked carefully at photos online before asking for this pattern (received as a gift). Looking at the drawing on the pattern - they don't really look like harem pants to me.. I would normally cut size 12, after cutting however I thought they would be way too big and cut size 8 - they are still too big. I also added 4 darts on the back taking 8 cm out of the back width, a good move, otherwise they would bunch up horribly. Luckily I didn't make them in expensive fabric! My advice - look at the photos front and back and side view especially online - they bunch up on the belly and back ,to me it looks horrible. Make them up in cheap fabric, light calico or something to see if you need to make changes. Put back darts in. I had to lengthen mine 2 inches so check the length too. Check the crotch length. These need to be made in very light fabric, my cotton was 120 g/m2 and I think it was too thick. IMO the style is not flattering at all...Instructions are very basic, not sure I'd be comfortable sewing these when I first started sewing... I'm disappointed and it definitely put me off style arc patterns for good. If I could, I'd ask for money back and simply got myself a pair of harem pants on amazon, I have a pair and they are much better and much cheaper.

Pockets and comfortable fit = perfect!
Love the pattern. The crotch was a little low for me so I shortened one inch -> perfect! I modified the pockets to hang from the waistband so the weight of my cell phone did not tug on the pants. I’ve made 3 pr and will make more. SO comfortable and great pockets (with modification). Love the waistband.

Easy stylish pattern
I really like this style of loose fitting comfortable pants but was unable to find any similar pre-made ones in stores. So, I purchased this pattern and am very pleased with how it turned out and how easy it was to make. I have sewn for 50 + years so there was one thing that I changed as far as construction. For instance: It is so much easier to put the waistband on first, leaving a gap to insert the elastic through and then sew the elastic together and sew up the gap. Then, top stitch through the elastic and waistband several times to keep it from twisting and give it a finished look. Otherwise, it is very easy to make this pair of attractive and super comfortable pants.

Comfy
Came out great. Goofy waistband instructions. Just make a casing and insert the elastic squooching it along with a pin. Best with very lightweight fabric.

Cute pants, terrible instruction.
Another cute Style Arc pattern with lousy instructions. Style Arc, at least put put more detailed instructions online so buyers can have an easier time making your clothes. I would give you 5 stars if that were an option.

Not for beginners
I wouldn’t recommend this pattern for beginners, I used all of my “how to” books to complete.
