iCrimp Spark Plug Wire Crimper, 7-8.5mm HEI Ignition Cable Tool

100% recommend this hand tool over the cheaper tool that you use a bench vise with. This was super easy to use. One curious thing is the die was switched around compared to the YouTube video I saw from the manufacturer. It obviously works fine that way too, it just confused me at first. Stripper works great and makes very solid crimps. Seems very well made. First time crimping spark plug wires and this made it super easy.

I wanted to shorten my existing 7mm plug wires and neaten up my engine bay. Most crimpers say they work with 8-8.5 mm wires. Someone left a review that these worked with 7mm wires so I gave them a try. They work GREAT with 7mm wires. Do not hesitate to use these if that's the size wires that you have. This tool is very sturdy and should last years, even if used professionally.

Well worth the money. I've used many crimpers over the years and this one is simply the best I've ever used. Terminals are usually fairly wide to start. Just take a pair of pliers and after inserting the wire, just straighten the terminal ends and place in crimper and press until closed. Perfect crimp every time.

Works perfectly for 7mm plug wires.

These work well, and appear to be of acceptable quality. It also appears they use similar dies/jaws as the MSD crimpers, and accept the MSD dies/jaws. (tested successfully) The handles are a little longer on these compared to the MSD handles, which makes no difference to me in operation. Any additional leverage is not needed. The ratcheting action on these are not quite as good as the MSD ones, but appear to make no difference in operation. I strongly recommend these as a budget option over the MSD crimpers. .

I remember the 80's and hatin' plug wires . factory sets never fit and smashed alot of build your own. These crimpers make life easier.

crimp tool works as it should , nice tool

work a lot with old cars and they use the 7 mm size wire. These work well for those wire making a very nice "B" style crimp. That holds true for the 8 mm wires also. It also has a ratchet release so you can recover from am oops! I like the stripper as it works well on Hipalon jacketed wires. Don't often give 5 stars but these are great!

For the price there is no good reason not to have these in the box, for the amount of wires I make- couldn't justify the purchase, but I could not find my old MSD vise style...I would say these do a far better crimp. I like to use a little lube whether its really need or not has helped other crimpers.

Well made, easy to use, worked perfectly.

awesome tool for making custom wires. Well worth the money
