My wife's cousin sent us this one year for Christmas. It's really fine tasting coffee for expresso, but I use it to make a 10 oz cappuccino with a hot foam of 1/3 light cream 2/3 milk. Sprinkle some raw sugar on top and sprinkle of cinnamon and it's the perfect way to start the day!

This is the same coffee that our local independent coffee shop is using. It tastes beyond fantastic over there. However the package that I bought on Amazon has by far not delivered the same taste. Having said that, I used this coffee in our simple Bialetti home coffee maker vs. the expensive specialized espresso machine of our local independent coffee shop. I think this coffee probably needs to be used in a professional espresso machine.

It's the best espresso I've tried. Smooth, not bitter. I'm giving some for Christmas.

This is really good coffee that I was introduced to in a great coffee shop in Montreal. Unfortunately, it was just a little too coarsely ground for my Gaggia Classic Coffee espresso machine.

Actually it was too smooth for me. Even though I need to chose decaf due to my health condition , I would like to have rich aroma to my coffee. I am going back to Medaglia D’oro Decaf.———————UpdateAfter submitting the review, the seller offered me a refund. I think “hit and miss” is the risk we take when trying out new things, so I did not take that offer. However, I thought it was very thoughtful gesture.

I never got to taste this coffee. It says "espresso grind," and it is fine, but no amount of tamping or quantity of coffee would pull a shot in anything less than a few seconds.Pic: danesi (L) and home-ground Black Cat (R).

Was looking for a smoother espresso to try. I was extremely happy with my purchase. Whether served as a straight shot espresso or as a cappuccino, the taste was smooth and delicious.
