Don’t be fooled by the other stuff with the pretty colors. This is the one that gets salmon on the boat.I quadrupled my hookups per trip when I added this to my brine. Columbia and Willamette River springers and fall fish.

Helps keep bait fresh
If you troll offshore, but don't live in FL you have to buy frozen ballyhoo and should be brining it before use. Product works exactly as advertised, but keep in mind if you follow instructions exactly you'll likely only get 1-2 batches per jar.

Stuff works great for dying your baits and it doesn't need any refrigeration in the process. The salted solution also has flavor inhancers. I have caught as many fish on brined baits as I have on live ones. Sure beats throwing your dead baits away.

Works great!
I was recommended to get this by guy with a serious fishing problem. It works great on curing herring to toughen them up. I have gone through 3 cans of this now. Fish seem to love it.

Works really well
I used this to prepare frozen anchovies for saltwater fishing. It seemed to work very well since everyone in my group was getting a lot of bites. I would definitely buy it again.

Looks to be an old product! Ruined 4 flats of herring and the halibut/salmon trip!

Barely works.
So far I'm not impressed.I followed the instructions and attemped to use this to toughen some shad.The difference was almost unnoticeable.I let it soak for over 12 hours.I'll try more batches and soak them for 1 & 3 days.I'll use more of the product with the same amount of water.If it improves I'll update my review.
