Philips GoGear Vibe 8GB MP3 Player - Aluminum

This thing screams. The aluminum casing is perfect for anyone using this anywhere outside of their couch...I've taken it hiking, fishing, on the beach, etc...2 years later and the unit still performs flawlessly. The battery is incredible. I took it on a 5 day camping trip, played it every night for hours at the campfire with a little iHome speaker and didn't charge it once. If you want a very well made, great sounding unit that is more durable than any I have ever seen, look no further. Seriously - this thing is that good.

I just loaded the player from my windows media center. I did not download Songbird. Windows 7 has the drivers for this player. The transfer was very easy, the player is easy to set up if you've ever done that before. The sound is good, I don't know about the battery life yet but I've had a Philips mp3 before and the life was really good. The seller for this player was really good I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I got the player for $33 with shipping. Walmart has this player for over fifty dollars. It's a great buy.Update 8.27.12After just six months this has burnt up. It quit playing in mid song. The shuffle feature never was very good. It always played the same songs. I won't be buying another Philips mp3 anytime soon.

A very nice player which I use for about 1,450 easy listening titles. No problem quickly learning the interface and music files can be easily copied to the player via Windows Explorer. Sound is excellent. I'm very happy with this item...and I hope the rechargeable battery lasts a looooooong time. Before buying here, search the internet to see if you can get a better price. The other 5-star buyer paid about $20 less than I did. Good deal.

thats all i can say at this point i was thinking of getting another bc i like the look and feel of it but havent gotten around to it yet

The only problem I had with this Mp3 player is a glitch that occurs. The battery bar will go all the way down, but last for hours after that - leading me to believe that there is obviousy still juice in it. Not a major problem, but it makes it hard to tell when it's on the verge of death.

Got this to take on a cruise, and it was fantastic. I loaded all my music and since I am an early riser, I sat reading my kindle and listening to my music until my dughter woke up.

Unlike other Mp3 players, charge the battery first an then download the software. Other then that the "Vibe" sounds very good!
