Ortho Tree and Shrub Insect Control Plus Miracle-Gro Plant Food Concentrate (Systemic Insecticide Fertilizer)

My Japanese maple was almost dying , this product saved it, I applied to bushes , got very good result. Even I applied to my preneial flower plants like begonia which gets eaten by some bugs/insects , it worked magically ,be sure to use diluted than bushes or plants.

On the upside the product did help my tree alot. It was sparce and not flowering and i was worries it was dying. Once i figured how out much to use in what dilution things turned around quickly --what a relief to see it come back w beautiful purple flowers.Having said that--which i know is the most imp part--my complaints were how to know how much to use and the dilution was tedious and rediculous. If i did the math correctly it was 1.5 bottles and around 15 gallons of water. Or is the volume of water important? ?who knows? The diections seemed vague and could have been worded better. I tried calling phone number on bottle and had to wait 2days for call back and missed it of course. Guess we did ok tho. Tree looks good. Will use again..

Our camellias developed armored scale. After researching management of some extension websites, I purchased this product since the active ingredient is dinotefuran. It worked well, and our camellias are healthy again. Only negative is this bottle only contained enough for two plants, so I deducted one star. Fortunately, I had some of the granular product available, and it works as well also.

This is so easily to use. I ordered it for a gardenia bush that had mold due to bugs. The bush was dying. I applied the product to the base of the plant as per instructions and wiped off the effected leaves with soap and warter. My giardina bush is beautiful once again.

You have to use 3 times as much for the same treatment of Bayer. Also, the bottle was half the size so didn’t go very far. We will see if it works as well over the summer as we treated half the trees with this and the other half with Bayer.

I used this on my bushes that were infested with bag worms. Don’t know what that is? Look it up! My bushes are now thriving two months later. I then used this on my rose bushes and let’s just say I’m having to try to figure out how to slow their growth! They’re so beautiful now. I’m buying more for my trees and other garden items. This stuff is great!!

The product was easy to use. If you are looking for a systemic insecticide to control aphids on rubilnni palms, this is the product. It fertiles and insecticides at the same time, which is a plus factor.

Checked my hyacinth this morning after the first application of the product. No burn is evident. Also, no White Flies today. These flies are insidious. Prior, I had leaves with the total underside covered with white webbing and flies. So far today no new population. I was hoping for rapid action since these insects move rapidly to other plants. Now I can work on the fungus that follows. Thanks Ortho
