Excellent colorful book which we thoroughly enjoy reading

I bought this book for my 4-year-old, who is showing an increasing interest in the English language (we are Catalan speakers), and he absolutely loves looking at the pictures and hearing me read the stories out loud for hours on end. I'm close to losing what's left of my voice to a really sore throat, but it's really working wonders on his English, so I'll persevere!!The book's binding is high quality and it is luxuriously illustrated, so much so that it has become really easy for my son to follow the stories, with no translation at all, just by listening to me read it out loud and looking at the pictures at the same time. The print is large and comfortable to read for an older child, so I hope this will keep him motivated when he becomes capable of reading English in a couple of years' time.

The package arrived on time and in top notch condition -- as I've come to expect from Amazon.My little guy is extremely found of the Chuggington series -- whether in English or in Polish, so I purchased this English series for him to get reading in English as well. He loves the pictures and the stories are from the cartoons he's seen so he can follow it.The drawback is that it is a bit heavy, so not easy to lug around on holiday, but it is good for the home before bedtime

My 3 year old loves Chuggington and so did we until he asked for this story. We felt the story was far too wordy and complicated for him. Too many words were on the page and the ideas were too complicated for him to getvhis head around, as well as the language we had to explain without the necessary accompanying pictures to help. It's a lovely book in terms of colours and quality just not for a 3 to 4 year old; however, these children tend to love Chuggington.

This is quite a chunky book, not as easy to hold and read to smaller babies and toddlers. My son is 13 months and loves Chuggington but I think he will get more out of this book when he's a bit older. The paper pages are a bit flimsy for him, I'll stick to board books for a while longer yet. There are several stories in this book based on the TV series and The illustrations are bright and bold.

This is a must for any Chugger! It's colourful and has great big pictures of the characters. It's a lovely big book and my son chooses it all the time and never seems to tire from me reading it time and time again. He also looks at it on his own and goes through naming all the characters on the inside covers. This makes a nice gift as it's a hardback, book to keep for ages.
