Finally a fairly decent transfer of this TV Movie compared to whatelse is out there
Together on 1 disk the two part film. This is the best transfer of this oft poor offered TV movie currently being offered. Only problem, it starts with part one (Divorce his) but doesn't actually state when you get to part two (Divorce hers). I am glad however to finally watch a presentation that is not fuzzy. poor definition But be careful as to which dvd you order (be sure it is the Film Detective version. Certanly not a classic.. plot is so so but Taylor looks beautiful in it and Burton a handsome match.

Divorce is ugly
This is an old DVD released in 2001 with absolutely no specials, commentary, or even subtitles. The picture quality is fine for an old movie(from 1973). The DVD contains two parts(His/Her).The Divorce His part contains numerous flashback scenes from the husband's viewpoint. Before a flashback, Burton's character goes into a zone, then the flashback begins. I found the flashbacks to be disruptive, like someone cutting into a conversation.Divorce Hers(just like His) contains plenty of long, drawn-out(and overly dramatic) conversations. Liz Taylor's character spends plenty of time 'yelping' about her troubles.I came in with an open-mind and tried to enjoy this movie, but I got bored pretty quick. Everyone has their own opinion; I still think Liz Taylor looks beautiful in this movie(in an older sort of way). That was the only somewhat enjoyable part of this movie.

Audio and video not good.
Audio is to low and the video is awful. Looks like someone taped it off the t.v.

A low point for Taylor and Burton
This seems to be a low point for Taylor and Burton. All dialogue, little action, slow moving, complicated plot interlaced with flashbacks. Overall poor acting, weak screenplay?—something doesn’t quite work here. Worth a view, but you probably won’t be satisfied with the time spent.

Film Detective does not have the full cut as advertised, it is 1 hour and 14 min.
I just purchased the new Film Detective Restored Version of Divorce His, Divorce Hers, billed as the full 180 minute project. The Amazon listing says that this is 180 minutes long, so does the box copy and the DVD itself. However, the disc runs only 1 hour and 14 minutes. I will be returning my copy for a refund.

Only Part 2 is Often Recived
I have bought two of these DVD's only to have recived Part 2...Part one was no where to be found.I find this very strange and wanted to know if anyone else has found this to be true?? It reads 180 min but only about 2 hours is there.Good Luck....Other than that this was quite well done and Liz looks beautifull alot like Ash Wensday film.

Where is Part 2?
The 2nd part of the movie is missing from the disk. Returning for refund. Too bad - the video quality was better than other versions I've seen.
