As advertised
Works as advertised. Installed in less than 5 minutes. No noticeable power gains, but it did make the supercharger more audible.

K&N has never failed to impress me
K&N has never failed to impress me. This is at least my 10th K&N in various vehicles - every one made noticeable improvement in power and throttle response. One exception is the HEMI powered Ram. But - when you already have 390hp, 5-10 more isn't really noticeable. Add 10hp to a 120hp 4 or 6 cyl, you notice it. I can also say that not all vehicles have seen an improvement in mpg. Again, the HEMI did not. But, for a filter I never had to replace, it was still worth the effort. 02 Chrylser PT Cruiser, 2.4L, 50k mi, 150bhp, also did not improve in mpg, but helped the anemic overweight PT move a smidge quicker. Every car moving forward will always have a K&N filter or intake. First gear in this most recent car definitely has more balls, and throttle response is noticeably quicker. Gain 1mpg too, despite beating the snot out of this $700 beater - 02 Pontiac Grand Prix, 3.1L, 115k mi, 175bhp.

Nice!
Got this for my 07' Pontiac Grand Prix 3800 and works like a charm! Heads up on this, it does take about 100 miles to settle in. I was driving to and from work and not on a long trip but it has made a nice change. Surprises me the response it gets with the K&N. My car ran fine prior. I actually had put a brand new ACDelco in prior which worked fine but wanted to see if the K&N would give a boost and glad I tried it. K&N makes a great product!

Always recommend K&N
I use K&N products in all my vehicles. I always recommend them. My previous car for winter use here in MI was a 1997 Lumina with the 3.1 V6 Published hp spec is 160hp. The car died a painful death last month but I got 223,000 miles out of it and only paid $2500.00 for it years ago. I now put this filter in a 2000 Buick Century. Same size GM engine but they revamped the intakes and exhaust ports. HP specs at 175. Then I put this filter in and there was a noticable gain in performance. Will be worth the 40 some $$$$.Anybody need a K&N filter for a Lumina?

First K&N Filter in my Impala, Real Satisfaction from Gains
I love K&N filters and have them on every bike I own or have owned. This was my first experience with a car air filter from them and everything went pretty smoothly during the installation. There was a slight issue with fit, the K&N was much snugger then factory/oem so it took a little time to fit the filter to the air box. However once in, everything was cinch. Measurably better gas efficiency and noticeably better performance and power. Solid choice if you want to get the most out of your car.

Small Part, Big Improvement
I bought this air filter to hold me over while I save to put a K&N Intake in my 01 Impala LS. The install was very easy, and only took about 5 minutes. The filter fit perfectly. After driving for about a month I can tell there is much improvement in my acceleration. My engine seems to run cooler as well. I would highly recommend this air filter for any car, whether you are looking for some extra performance or not. The fact that it is cleanable and lasts 50,000 miles between charges is icing on the cake.

Nice mpg boost and slight power increace
I put this in an 01' Grand Prix GTP. I've only been using this about a day, but my mpg gauge says it's getting a little boost (about 2 mpg), and the car feels peppier. My old filter was a really dirty so i can't say how much better it is than a regular filter. In this car it was a little bit of a pain to install the foam gasket that sticks on because of the tight space. I've used K&N filters in all my cars in the past and really like them.
