Don’t buy!! It’s super cheap, thin, junk quality!!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this so I could start on my Halloween costume since I’m attempting a DIY one. I’m going to make me a jelly fish! This umbrella is the main part of the costume!Anyway the quality on this one is SUPER cheap!!!! It is not one that will last long in my opinion!!The clear part is very thin, very delicate feeling, it feels like it will tear in an instance if opened or pressed on too hard. The seams also feel very fragile like it’ll tear!I don’t know if it is waterproof, I don’t plan on trying cause I’m scared I’ll ruin it before Halloween!-The frame is junk!!! It’s thin, flimsy, hallow and not one I’d ever trust or use in the rain or wind! If the wind were ever strong this umbrella would go bye bye in to the trash cause I can forsee it breaking in stronger than daily wind! The thin frame rod was bent when it arrived but I figure for how cheap of a quality it is I’ll just end up throwing it away anyway after Halloween so whatever’s!!If you plan to use this as a child’s umbrella good luck cause it feels like it’ll break fast! Or at least tear fast!!! Save your money and buy a cute one that is better quality!I honestly cannot recommend this umbrella based solely on the very cheap quality! It’s way too flimsy! And a waste of money!!!!The ONLY thing I liked about it was the shape of it will go great as a jelly fish head!

Nice umbrella but dangerous for kids to close
I love this kind of umbrella, since you can really put it right over your head and still see. It's a good size for a child. My 6 year old uses it, but my 3-year-old could too. My 6-year-old tried to close it once himself and got a big cut on his finger, lots of blood. So do watch out for that. It's hinged very tightly, so when you undo it to fold it, it snaps very fast and hard (hence his getting this big cut). So I close it for him. There are other children's umbrellas that don't close so tightly and fast and are safer, but definitely watch out for this one. Not a problem for us since I'm usually with him, but this should be safer for kids since it says it's a children's umbrella.

I thought it was a good size, I'm 5'3
I used this for the Morton's salt girl costume so I was looking for a small umbrella. For a child's umbrella, I thought it was a good size, I'm 5'3, small frame so I guess that's why I was okay with the size of the umbrella. The handle is a little cheap and so is the closing/opening mechanism. There is no "pop up" button like most umbrellas. And the tie to close the umbrella broke off fairly quickly. I've only used it once and it's just been in car so I'm not sure how it broke off. But it was cheap umbrella and served it's purpose so I'm okay with the purchase. I would not purchase if I was looking for a long term umbrella.

Perfect for costume
I bought this umbrella to make my son a jellyfish costume for Bonnaroo because I'm cool like that. I did hear a rumor that he was taking credit for it when asked where he got it! Anyways it was the perfect size and the dome shape was just what I was looking for. The handle did break during his adventure (the last day) but who knows what all he put that thing through not to mention it had several battery packs taped to it. Too bad because I wanted it for Halloween!

Helps little ones see where they're walking while staying dry
Just got this, so not sure how well it will hold up. Seems well made. Has no chemical smell at all like some others, which is very important to me. Good buy for the price. Got it for 5 year old to use walking home from school on rainy days so he can see where he's going more easily while keeping dry. So far he loves his umbrella, and loves being able to see through it.UPDATE: We’ve had this umbrella for a couple years now. Still works great. This past Halloween evening it was raining. As they went around trick-or-treating, everyone wanted my grandson’s clear umbrella since he could see where he was going as he walked AND his costume was completely visible. Great umbrella.

Used to make a reflector
My intent was not to use it as an umbrella, it was to make a reflector. It was suitable for the experiment, and would most likely have been suitable for the intended purpose that it was meant for.

Light weight but not very durable
Cheap quality, first one ordered arrived damaged. Second one was fine but the little tip came off and so did the little button closer belt. It bends easily since it's so light which is a good and bad thing. My toddler 18-22 months can carry it since its light but bc its light it is bent. It's also not easy for a toddler to open abs close. You have to do it for them. We've only used it a handful of times since it rains vey little here. I do love that it matches my mommy version.
