push… Creating ways to incorporate these needs into safe and fun activities that provide the desired intensity may allow your ..
In January 2015 my little girl was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder (SPD). SPD seekers tend to be very active children. They often respond positively to very intense forms of sensory stimulation and look for ways to move, jump, fall, crash, kick, push… Creating ways to incorporate these needs into safe and fun activities that provide the desired intensity may allow your child to come to a calm and focused place. They may also like to lick, chew, pull, pick etc. GG likes to lick and has since she was a baby. Not a huge big deal when she’s at home, but on the go she would lose this stick type object made for licking or worse yet is drop it and pick it up to continue licking. Germaphobia kicking in like mine would? She’s about to be starting Kindergarten soon, and is becoming more self conscious about her need for oral stimulation. It makes me incredibly happy to be made aware of products out there that are not only functional but easy to clean as well! If you are looking for a great SPD then in my opinion, you have found it. I highly recommend this product.

Great for teething!
My son loves it...especially for those back molars. I was looking forward to the "citrus scent" part and there is really no scent to he found.Besides that, it's great.

Very Sturdy Chewy
Excellent product for a child/teen that has strong mouthing and chewing needs. Very well made. Can be cut down if the child does eventually bite through. Scented ones do not have a flavor you can taste. No real benefit other than olfactory exploration in feeding therapy, but the different colors are good if you have more than one child using them in the same home/class.

son loves it ... seems odd to see him with it
So my son is constantly chewing his fingers ... we got him this and when he remembers to reach for it, it's a great replacement. Good quality, he's not chewed through it or anything. When it first arrived (my wife ordered it), I thought it was for the dog, so I was a little surprised when the kid started using it. So that was odd, but that's what it's for and it works well.

Chew "X" for my son
This is a great chew stick for my 4 yr old son. I know the "P" is really popular and he has a couple of those too, but this one offers him more variety with the different textures. He prefers the smooth side mostly. It's easy for him to hold and endures A LOT of serious chewing! I would recommend this to anyone who has a child who needs a lot of oral stimulation. It definitely keeps him occupied when I need him to sit for a while.

As a classroom teacher I have even recommended these to parents of children
These help do much for children with oral fixations. This has helped my son both at school and at home. The different textures allow for various chewing sensations. The stixx are very durable even for moderate to vigorous chewers. The citrus is more of a scent than a taste. He uses these a lot! As a classroom teacher I have even recommended these to parents of children!! Love them!
