Choco Starlights - 2 Pound Bag

A little tasteless

My wife has been looking for these candies for a long time. We had them once in a Mexican Restaurant in Las Vegas, and have not been able to find them since. They are a hard candy mint, like the usual spiral mints you get with the white and red colors, but . . . these have the mint, and a chocolate flavor. The bag came protected in a cardboard box, so no broken pieces. We will be re-ordering in the future.

Although these do taste good, they have a little more peppermint flavor than I was wanting. I was looking for a little more of a chocolate taste.Again, these do taste good, just not what I was looking for.

Flavor

I was disappointed. Flavor did not match up to others.This product is made in Mexico.

After someone gave me 1 of these from another company, I searched for them but had a hard time finding them. These are not quite as good as the 1 I had, but they're a close 2nd. They taste good, not too strong of a chocolate or a mint taste, but they're good for when you want a little something sweet. Slightly smaller than the regular starlight mints I buy at the store, but it's not enough to really make a difference to me.

I love these mints. I am glad to have a source for them. I have a medical condition which requires me to have a piece of candy to generate saliva in my mouth constantly. I prefer peppermint to lemon drops, so I am happy now with these mints.

I highly doubt I got a 2 pound bag. Have gotten in past and was about twice as much in a sealed factory bag. I will buy the mints from different vendor.
