pluslifeguard MINI 1 Portable Cell Phone Charger - Navy Blue

I made the mistake of not using this item before it was too late to return or replace it. I've always been very happy about items I ordered from Amazon so I didn't have any concerns. When I finally got to a point where I actually needed it, it didn't work at all. I had already charged it and put it my purse for emergency, so assumed it would work . When I plugged it into my iPhone it just blinked on and off as if it's trying to charge but didn't. I'm so disappointed in myself for not testing it. I can't even get a replacement now to find out if one I have was possibly defected. I took a chance and believed the reviews, but never again!

Defective unit. Very disappointed since this product was so highly rated.When plugged into my iPad (after fully charged), it keeps on connecting (for 1 second) and disconnecting over and over and over. The charge chime from the iPad keeps going off constantly with the charge bolt in the top right appearing and disappearing as it struggles to maintain a connection.And now as I type this, it now struggles to maintain that on/off 1 second cycle. It's now randomly connecting for a second every 15-30 seconds or so.I tried swapping out the official Apple lightning cable as well as the +Lifeguard cable. Same result.

item charges in a couple hours after plugging in, good. After trying to use to charge phone is really fast goog charge to about less then 40% after that charger starts to get reall hot, worried will damage phone and u plug. Left today to 78% hot, but not as hot. Then started getting alerts one after another on my phone but nothing I could see coming in, unplugged, alerts stopped. Basically have never Ben able to get 100% charge out of this device. May be good for a little juice at times. But have not tried leaving it charged in my purse for more then a day. So, don't know if it will hold a charge for longer then that.

2.5 full charges on iphone 5 while phone is on airplane mode to speed up charging. gets a little warm while charging, but nothing scary. when it has no battery left but is still plugged into the phone, it does the connected/disconnected sound over and over til you unplug it - its not broken when this happens, just have to charge the battery! takes about 5 hours to charge the batter with the cord given. need to supply your own usb wall port.

This is a must have for anyone with iPods, internet phones or a lot of electronic stuff. It's a little bit bigger than I thought it would be but not by much. I let it charge fully when I got it and it charges pretty fast. I also like the shape of it because it's more sturdy than some others out there. I absolutely love it and you can't beat the price. Very good product and very fast shipping. I will actually buy another one just as a backup just because it works so well.

I bought the Lifeguard Mini 1 to charge my iPhone 6 while I'm far away from outlets and charging cords. It worked great for the first month (I used it once or twice a week) and then stopped working altogether - the charger seems to charge up fine but no longer manages to charge my phone. It's a shame because it convenient fit in my pocket or bag - plan to return this item and look for a more reliable charger.

Almost immediately, the little port where you plug in your charger became so loose that it became difficult to get the Lifeguard to accept a charge. I can get it to charge for a while, but eventually the plug loosens on its own and the charging stops. It was to be my primary portable power source, but now it's a backup to a cheapy that was given to me for free.

The biggest perk about this product, aside from the excellent customer service, is that it includes all the cables you'll need. It's so easy to just store the charger in my bag and not have to worry about finding an outlet. It charges my phone up quickly and the unit itself charges relatively quickly.The only thing that would make it better is if the unit had lights to indicate how much of a charge remained. But, ultimately, for the price, it's a really great buy.
