Irish Pub Cooking (Nitty Gritty Cookbooks)

Love it, I have already cooked several recipes and enjoyed them. I am a Brit but live in USA now so it brings back a bit of England for me.

Lost my original book. Bought this one again. Great recipes that can be made at home. Modified one recipe for a outdoorsman's club for pulled pork, and everyone loved it!

Was very satisfied with the product and the prompt shipping that was provided. All items were what was described. Nothing was left out

Bought this book as part of the 4 for 3 offer. Still, don't think it was worth the price. Much smaller than I thought (probably should have paid closer attention to the dimensions). Although there are some nice recipes in here, I think I would have been much better off spending a few more dollars and buying something with a little more content. I guess, considering it was a 4 for 3, it's ok. Never would have spent full price.

Not as expected. Very few of the recipes were (I feel) easily whipped up at home. I guess you just "gotta go there!"

Wonderfully tasting good IRISH PUB food. I have several Irish Cook Books, however this is absolutely the best. Effortlessly great foods that I was able to make myself. Easy, fast and great tasting receipes. Arrived on time and in great condition. My favorite was the Beer Battered Prawns.

My husband and I were in San Francisco for the GDC two years ago and had dinner at Foley's with some colleagues of his. I had the cottage pie and it was so good, I had to restrain myself from licking the bowl in front of everybody. Unfortunately, we live far, far away from San Francisco (one of the most beautiful city in the world)and couldn't have dinner at Foley's whenever we wanted to. I've tried a couple of times to duplicate the cottage pie recipe but failed miserably. But when I found out that I could buy this cookbook, I wasted no time and I'm really happy with this purchase. Other recipes are really good (Irish Lamb Stew comes to mind)but to be able to have Foley's cottage pie whenever I want to, in itself, is worth the price.
