This is the best shampoo for human scalp psoriasis I have found. I tried Head & Shoulders, Selsun Blue, coal tar shampoo and even a Rx medicated shampoo and none of it helped very much.A friend recommended this equine shampoo and I was a little skeptical. But I was miserable and desperate to get rid of the psoriasis on my scalp so I decided to try it.I don’t dilute it. I use it straight from the bottle. The consistency is the same as regular shampoo. It doesn’t have a strong smell but it is pleasant. I leave the suds on my hair for 10 - 15 minutes before I wash it out.It is immediately soothing. After the first use my scalp wasn’t itching or hurting. I have been washing my hair with it every day for 3 weeks and my psoriasis has improved drastically. It hasn’t completely gone away but the plaques left are not as thick and they are way smaller. Some places have totally cleared up.My hair is healthier than it’s ever been. The shampoo takes the tangles out so if you have long hair that’s a plus. I have short hair and it is soft & shiny. I went for a haircut a few days ago and my stylist commented on my hair and my scalp. I haven’t used any hair conditioner.I recommend this for anyone with scalp psoriasis. Don’t be afraid to try it.I plan to continue using it.

As a retired groomer and former owner of a pet care facility, this shampoo is honestly the best medicated shampoo I’ve ever used and I’ve tried many in the last 30 years! Helps almost any skin condition and leaves coat soft and shiny. We use it even on our dogs that do not have skin issues because it cleans so well and smells nice! A little goes a long way, so be sure to dilute it or you may have difficulty rinsing. Overall the best dog shampoo for any itchy dog, and great for all coat types! It leaves coat the same as if a shampoo for show dogs had been used, but also has the benefits of a medicated, anit-fungal shampoo. Great for Poodles and other breeds who have skin issues!

I have used this producted on my horses for years. It the best for scratches, skin itches, smells good too. It is deluted for horse and dogs. Do not use full strength. Call microtek, they are very helpful. My Chesapeake bay retriever has severe yeast related issues in the summer. The product does need to be lathered on the hair all the way to the skin. It needs to stay on for 20 minutes then rinse. Definitely lather it between the toes/ pads of your dogs. That area is where it survives the most on dogs. I have used this product for years, bery safe but you must dilute with water. Call microtek any questions they are very helpful. Their marigold spray is good to for repelling biting bugs. I use it on me, dogs, & horses!!!

Not thrilled it contains triclocarban, but not using it daily. Mild antibacterial/antifungal shampoo. Did not irritate raw areas on my horse (treating scratches and cannon bone scurf with an oil based product which attracts dirt). It even did not irritate eczema I have on my hands.

I have a horse that has really bad reactions to bug bites. I couldn't use enough bug spray and I hated the smell and chemicals. Last year he had huge raw spots from scratching and had to always be covered in some kind of ointment that usually melted in the heat. This year I added SmartPak bug-off, Skin &Allergy powder from my vet and this spray and shampoo. I have been using all these now for three months and his skin is looking great. No reactions, no hives, bumps, or raw spots. I haven't seen him scratching or rubbing. I love the scent! His coat looks great, it's smooth and shines like a copper penny. I have even been using this and the spray on my golden retriever. Her coat is beautiful, smooth and fluffy. She has had a dandruff type flakes that are oily and itchy. My vet gave me a medicated shampoo that did nothing and smelled horrible. I decided to try this on her and her skin issues have stopped!! Her coat has never looked better and she is a happy non-itchy girl again.

Excellent shampoo has really helped to stop the itch for our Jack Russel, and smells wonderful - unlike some others!
