This book compares the texts of and the commentaries for Daxue and Zhongyong before and after Zhu Xi got hold of them. Very helpful, in fact, brilliant, because it exposes both the distortions and the innovations he brought to the two texts. Excellent, and yet not obscurely technical to read!
