Rapid Pro R14E Staple Gun with Recoilless Mechanism

Had several budget staplers from DIY stores over the years. An upholsterer recommended this Rapid - it is really good. Never jammed or misfired yet, plenty enough power to fully sink 6 and 8mm staples into softwoods, not tried it into hardwoods yet.I strongly recommend you get the Rapid staples for it - I've been told that the various generic ones around are far more likely to jam etc.Highly recommended - the upholsterer replaced hers after about 12 years (due to internal wear) and she is using it day in, day out - more in a year than I'll ever use mine I expect.

Das Teil ist für die Ewigkeit gemacht. Made in Sweden. Leider fehlten die versprochenen 1200 Heftklammern, deswegen 1 Stern Abzug.

These staplers work great for about a year, then they start misfiring to the point where they only work about 10-20% of the time. This is a consistent rate of failure. We keep buying them because we bought thousands of staples... the warranty is 5 years and I’ve attempted to contact them repeatedly, I have never received a reply.

The stapler is heavy duty and has stood the test of usage. The handle is very well made the spring and locking system all provide easy of use. The stapler has been a very useful tool for external activities such carpentry. Pleased to own this very handy tool. It's good enough for upholstery.
