Funski Walker Glides (Set of 2)

I recently had hip replacement surgery and I needed tips on my walker that weren’t tennis balls. I ordered the bumble bee tips and they worked great when I was doing PT after my surgery. They glide along so smoothly and I like the idea that I can replace just the bottom tips if they wear down and don’t have to replace the whole item. They were a big hit too. Everyone who saw them loved them and wanted to know where I got them. Great product.

Bought these for my wife. The tennis balls from the hospital/PT had worn through. I got her more tennis balls and these Walker Glides. She MUCH prefers the glides. They stay cleaner and seem to move easily on all surfaces.

The smooth shape is good for gliding over carpets etc. But as the video cautions, these will wear out fast if used over outdoor concrete sidewalks, asphalt pavement, etc. Faster than ski type gliders. But the replacement tips are inexpensive. So far, I still prefer theses over the ski type gliders because they are so smooth except on concrete, sidewalks, and pavers.

These walker glides worked wonderfully for about a month; however, they quickly lost their nice and easy glide motion and began leaving scratches on my hardwood floors. I am really disappointed because they were terrific when I first put them on my walker - So now I am back to using tennis balls.

I bought this for my mom’s walker. The old skis/gliders on my mom’s walker would wear out fast, and would catch on rugs et cetera or on something in the van as one is loading or unloading the walker. These glide better over a variety of surfaces without catching on them and without as much friction. They are easy to wipe clean, and have a indicator that will appear when it is time to replace the plastic bottoms. I am worried that they may be hard to remove from the walker in order to replace the plastic bottom piece. However, I highly recommend these gliders.

We put these on my daughters walker. They work really well on hard floor and carpet. We did have to take the caps off of the bottom before the ladybugs would fit, but they went on great.

It was not clear from their description that these cannot fit over existing walker legs and there is zero explanation of how to remove the walker's manufactured bases -- they seem to be welded on. Thus these are unuseable.

These work great. Having my 1st of 2 total knee replacements in 4 days and these will be used a lot. I like the design and the feel of the glides. A little expensive but very well made.
