Nice system for the money. I have now bought 3.
Update 11/5: so I have bought two more since and they can from different sellers. I will still stand with 5-stars as all systems were clean and overall I am happy with their refurbishing. They all needed different amounts up updating (which I expected) and took anywhere between 1-3 hours to get all updated with several reboots and what software needed to be loaded via download. That is not bad. Boot time is quick and these will definitely be good for years to come. I use the display ports with an HDMI adapter without issue. From what i can see they may not meet the requirements for Windows 11....but honestly for what they are used for, Windows 10 is well supported and not an issue. Not much else to add and so far so good!Original review:Arrived on time and I have bought refurbished systems before. We'll packaged and came with a power cord and a basic corded keyboard and mouse. After unpacking I opened up the case and it was clean inside....didn't look around much but did have a new HDD. It uses the display port connections and I did have adaptors already from the previous system that was in use to convert to HDMI....fired it up and it boots fast. Went through the setup and then took the time to update Windows 10 and also all of the supporting drivers as well. Due to the reboots and my schedule, I had it up to date by the end of the day. Loaded a handful of programs, transferred files, as well as some downloaded apps....off and running.Everything works great and I still am surprised how much faster an i7 machine is compared to an i5....just night and day. There were some minor scuffs in the paint which looks like it was from multiple units packed together without any packing material-- that is most likely how they received it and besides that which is nothing at all....no dents, dings, or any other marks. If more are available.... Going to pick up at least one or two more.

Great deal, excellent machine
We have had 3 computers destroyed by Windows updates this year, and the most recent casualty was my desktop (though my husband thinks the drive actually went out this time). It is the same generation as this computer and almost identical, but for the Nvidia card. It actually runs as smoothly because I got an I7 for about 1/10th of what I paid for my I5, and there is more ram as well. This is really well done. I was happy to see a platter dvd, rather than a spindle.I was surporised by other things which were included. I thougfht I needed a display port to hdmi cable, butr there is hdmi, and it is working fine.It also came with a wifi dongle (the one I ordered with the machine arrives tomorrow, and I will probably keep it because it is a tplink wide range.I already had a bluetooth transmitter/ receiver, and can recommend the AKSonic to anyone who might be looking for one. They had (at least) one with aptx, aptx hd and ldac. (Which means I can use it for streaming with no sacrifice).I am happy as a clam with how well this works and how easy the entire thing was,and will add that it cost less than BB wanted to charge to give me an estimate on fixing my ASUS.I am happy enough with this that I am thinking about buying another for my husband.and, unbelievably, the price has gone down since prime day, but I am perfectly OK with what I paid for it.

This renewed desktop WORKS GREAT
Oh, my for $279 I got me a fast working refurbished Lenovo computer. First I had a very hard time connecting to my home WIFI. After one hour and googling it, I didn't realized it doesn't have a built in Wifi adapter. I was like "What"? I was ready to throw it across the room. How can an Intel 7 with 16gb memory computer can't connect to the internet? It just shows me to connect it to an Ethernet to my Router. But my Router is downstairs which means I had to run an Ethernet cable from the 1st floor, run it through the stairs and connect it to my computer at the 2nd floor. What an inconvenience! That means I had to buy a 50 foot cable. Well, just my luck. I happened to have a Comcast Xpod Wifi extender that has a RJ45 port. All I had to do is buy a 5ft Ethernet cable which I was able to buy on Amazon also. Two days later my cable came, connected it from the computer to the Xpod. Lo and behold, I'm connected to the internet. Sooo happy. And it only cost me $2.45 for the cable. I wish the description on the listing would say "Needs a Wifi Adapter" to connect to the internet. Anyways, problem solved.Second problem, I have a hard time using the DVD rom. I tried to install MS Word and Photoshop via disc. It's NOT working. Now, I'm getting really frustrated. It's one problem after the other. I really don't want to return it as it's huge and shipping it back will be a great inconvenience. Lucky me again, it worked after 20 minutes. I now have MS Word and Photoshop installed on my computer.Overall, I still give them 5 stars. Why? For $275, I have a computer that works "zoom, zoom". Works perfect. It doesn't lag, it's not slow as there's no bloatware on the system. Upon clicking, apps open in 1 second. Thanks to the reseller of this computer. They have us in their minds to have a computer that's not bloated with unnecessary apps. I highly recommend this computer and seller. For $275 I have a computer that's works to my liking. I just hope it stays this way. Well, I still have 85 days left to return it if it turns into a clunker. So far so good, I'm happy as a clam. Oh by the way, I wasn't offered anything to do this review. I gave this review based on my experience with the product. Honest and simple :)
