Perfect breastfeeding meal guide
I purchased this book as a present to my husband before our daughter was born. He wanted to make me healthy meals and snacks during my postpartum to support breastfeeding and he needed ideas(more than just cookies). This book was perfect! It helped him understand what foods boost breastmilk production and energy for mama so he could stock the fridge and pantry. Also, the recipes are easy to follow, execute, and modify - I’m dairy free and most of the recipes didn't even need modifications and so many are also vegetarian! Most importantly these recipes taste amazing! We have been home from the hospital for a week and he has prepared 9 recipes from the book and they have all been some of the best things I’ve ever eaten and my milk supply is plentiful! I would eat all of these recipes even if they didn’t support breastfeeding. The spicy kimchi bowl, carrot/pesto/egg toast, beet salad w/ miso vinaigrette, fig/apricot/goat cheese/honey brown rice cakes, spiced molasses almond milk, peanut/sweet potato stew, crunchy garlic green beans, and apricot soda have all been home runs. Tonight we are planning roasted chicken with fennel and as a treat for later the dark chocolate/fig/almond bark! I’m seriously in heaven, thank you oat mama!

Delicious, Nutritious & Simple Recipes for Mamas!
This is my second pregnancy and I wish I had had this resource the first time around. Just got the book and I’ve already made many of the recipes to freeze- bars, balls, muffins, soup...and everything has been easy to make and delicious. Even my husband and toddler love it all. The authors are super knowledgeable and made these nutritious recipes accessible- can’t wait to see how it helps out with nursing. Husband even commented that you don’t have to be a nursing mom to enjoy these recipes. Get the book! It’s beautiful!

the kind of cookbook you want to show off
You know the kind of cookbook that you read like a book? The kind of cookbook that you want to show off because of how PRETTY it is? The girls from Oat Mama did it. We just recently got it and can't wait to dive into the recipes. Their lactation bars are delicious so we just trust that their recipes will be of the same standard. Plus, the photos are beautiful and the recipes have their voice throughout.A great gift for a breastfeeding mama or any soon to be mama, plus, it's truly beautiful!!

Beautiful book
Enjoy their bars and teas and tried the book. Some ingredients are hard to find, but I found the ingredients nutrient dense and delicious - something everyone will love. Most recipes are vegetarian too. I loved every recipe had a picture too - very aesthetically beautiful book.My favorite recipes so far were the lactation bars, no bake peach apricot oatmeal, and protein balls. Can’t wait to try the savory stuff.

Weird ingredients - gross tasting food
After giving birth to my fourth baby I decided to give a few of the recipes outs to family members who were looking to make us some meals- knowing I was going to be nursing I decided to use this book.The ingredients in most of these meals are not common ingredients- making the meals hard to recreate. On top of it, the four meals I received (all made by different families & all very good cooks) taste gross.Planning on donating the book because I likely won’t be using any of the recipes again.The pictures are pretty though

Delicious recipes for Nursing Mamas!
Excellent resource for lactating mamas. The recipes are unique, fresh and are very easy to prep (as time is very precious when you have a newborn). Love this company and this book is a MUST have for mamas that plan on or are currently breastfeeding. There are so many great recipes and it is quite handy to adapt recipes to your preference if you are out of an ingredient. Made the fennel salad with honey mustard vinegarette and it was amazing! If you're on the fence about it, buy this. It's definitely worth a read and saves so much time looking for lactation friendly recipes on Pinterest!

Amazing recipes!!
It is rare that I find a cookbook where the majority of recipes are appealing. This is that rare gem! Everything is easy to make even with a newborn or if you have someone helping who is not a master chef. The foods are super nourishing for milk supply, mom's recovery and mental and physical health, and are tasty for the whole family. Every recipe includes a photo, which is a huge plus. A great gift for any expectant mom!

AMAZING
these recipes are super easy to follow and oh my goodness they are so yummy! I made several treats to keep in the freezer before I went into birth. It was so nice to come home to oat bites, apricot bars, and gronola that all taste delicious and kept in the freezer perfectly! My milk supply is very high and my husband is constantly wanting to eat the treats from this book too they are so good! I have already made a few recipes 10+ times since I just make them once a week to eat all week since. Before my baby was born!
