Here's a cool tool that everyone needs! This is actually a two-in-one gadget; with a talking countdown timer and a talking clock. (Both can operate simultaneously and independently.) Plus; our timer has six different alarm sounds: whistling kettle; car horn; bell; bouncing coil; cuckoo; and beep. This timer's ultra-slim design makes it ideal for clipping to your belt; attaching to a metal surface; or sitting in an out-of-the-way corner of your kitchen counter (The clip can double as a small stand for the unit). There's also a super-strong magnet on the back of the timer; perfect for sticking it to your fridge. This is the first and only 24-hour talking timer in the world which periodically announces the time left until zero; eliminating the need for constant checking of time remaining. When you're timing anything; the timer will automatically announce the time remaining every hour; every ten minutes during the final hour; every minute in the final ten minutes; every ten seconds in the last minute; and every second of those crucial last ten seconds. The timer function is perfect for timing the cookies you're baking or the supper you're stirring on the stove; and the unique auto-repeat function (which can automatically restart the countdown after counting down to zero) is great for timing repetitive activities such as daily medicine taking; exercise work-outs; etc. And; naturally; you can always touch just one button to have the clock announce the current time in a clear; crisp voice. So stop trying to memorize all those meaningless beeps on your stove timer; and grab one of our handy Talking Timers - to save yourself a lot of headaches ... and many a burnt meal! (Uses two AG13 button cell batteries; included.)

Excellent product.
With all of this craziness in our lives, this item is indispensable; that is, it is easier to juggle so many tasks, deadlines, and items cooking. Highly recommend!

Easy to Use; Works Well
Easy to use, easy to hear. Hard to beat for the low price.

Great for high frequency hearing loss but hard to use
I can not hear above 2000 Hz. This makes the transducer on other timers almost impossible to hear. I can hear wind up timers, but after the third (communist) Chinese timer broke in my hand on the first day of use, I looked for an electronic timer I could actually hear. This timer is a poor design, but I can hear it.Pros:1) you have your choice of alarms. Most are under 2000 Hz. I can hear the honking horn just fine.2) most of the alarms are not jarring.Cons:1) the writing is two pitch and very difficult to see.2) the buttons are poorly designed and difficult to reliably engage.3) the programming is weird. Now to stop the alarm, is it two pushed of the stop button or one push of the stop and one push of the clear. You eventually figure it out. But it is not intuitive. And you forget how to do it and have to re-figure it out often.4) it uses two expensive, awkward, low run time, button batteries instead of two AAA cells.5) the location of the button batteries is difficult to get at.6) the stand pull out has the magnet on it. This means it will rock back and forth and go flying if you do not remove the unit from your refrigerator and use two hands to program it before sticking it back on your refrigerator.7) the control panel is difficult to open. Is should also be in the back and double as a stand so two magnets can be flush on the back and keep the unit from going flying when stuck to your refrigerator.8) there is no key pad entry of numbers. So, if you want 45 minutes and 30 seconds, guess what you need to press SEVENTY FIVE times! Two and a half minutes is a pain in the neck too.9) a useless clock included.10) the up down slide switch on the side is annoying to use.A silly criticism, more advanced models of this have a cow mooing. I miss the cow. But you have to pay double for them.To summarize, if you can hear above 2000 Hz and a loud, jarring transducer alarm is okay, the Xrexs NARF5_04331, also available on Amazon, is a much better choice. It has none of the Cons above. But if you can not hear it, go for this unit.

This Talking Timer Model Does Not Last
Bought this in May 2022 and it died in Jan 2023 less than a year later. It appeared batteries needed replaced when the voice became distorted as if “dying”. after replacing batteries , the Timer turns on but dies and the voice sounds like a dying cat. This is a piece of junk and must be a knock off.

Works great
Had a talking timer that finally quit recently and this was the replacement. Like that you can put something in the oven, clip it on your clothes, and go work somewhere else without worrying you'll forget what you're cooking, or how much time is left. Counts down every 10 min. first, then every minute under 10, then the last 60 seconds. Perfect.

It's a pretty great little unit
Things I like about it:-Very easy to set.-Good time intervals for voice notifications.-Magnet for fridge.- Has a count up and a count down option.Things I would change:-It has a belt loop holder with a magnet on it. The problem with this is that I can't set it by just pushing buttons while it is on the fridge because it is unbalanced. If I push the left button then forces the unit to tilt left, removing the magnet from the fridge and it all falls off. I wish it didn't have the loop option and just had a magnet.- I couldn't find any way to adjust the volume. I am using it to keep me on track while I am getting ready in the morning so I am not late. I would like to be able to turn it up if I am going to be around the house, and turn it down if I am going to be in the kitchen where I am closer to it.

Radio Control Plane timer
We use these for timing radio control model flights. The voice timer works better than just beeps that some of us older pilots can't hear. This has a good variety of sounds to use as an alarm. It also has a countdown feature so you know when you are getting close to the end of the time. The progressive updates are a big selling point for this unit.
