Great tripod-based projector screen
This is an excellent tripod-based screen. I recommend it to others. We love this screen. It's fairly sturdy, the screen is a great material, and it's easy to set-up and take down. It has a handy notch at the top of one end of the screen frame so that you can keep it from swiveling all around when moving it after take-down for storage. I have no trouble setting it up alone. Most importantly, it handles projector images well. Our Epson 2030 looks wonderful on the screen even with some ambient light from nearby windows. We tried it outside with some ambient light as well, and it looked great there too.Keep in mind that the screen will have a strong chemical/rubber-type smell for the first few uses. That fades with time, but it is very noticeable (especially in smaller rooms) the first few times you use it. We noticed it getting better after about the fourth use. You could accelerate the dissipation of the smell if you left it set-up for a while between uses. This is a great screen if you're looking for a tripod-based screen. I recommend it to others.

Great for renters
I do not own my own home so I needed to find an alternative to drilling into a wall or ceiling, as I enjoy getting security deposits back. This screen has served my purpose well, and for the money I feel like it was a great buy.It IS portable, but I would advise against transporting often or lending to others. I let my friend borrow it and when he returned it and I set it back up the screen tilted to one side, and I wasn't able to repair it. I ended up mounting a small weight on the back of the side that sat higher and it solved my problem, but I wasn't very happy. I don't know how well he treated it, so I'm not holding it against the product, just giving a word of caution.Another negative (although unavoidable with a standing screen) is that the tripod legs stick out quite far, so if you are dealing with space constraints or an already mounted projector, you need to be aware that the screen will sit 1' minimum out from the wall. Depending on your set-up, this could make getting the picture large enough to cover the entire screen impossible.Other than these issues, which are inherent to a portable projector, I have absolutely no complaints and would recommmend this screen to anyone who doesn't have the luxury of mounting a permanant screen. I had no problems setting this screen up by myself, and there were no pinholes or marks on the screen. Seems to be of high quality, but I don't have any other screens to compare it to.

Great addition to our church services
We were in need of an easier way to bring a screen in and out of our sanctuary. The size of this screen and the carrying bag were perfect for us. It allows all of the congregation the ability to see from the back of church. The image quality is good as well.

Well the screen was great, but the top bar that holds the screen ...
Well the screen was great, but the top bar that holds the screen broke within the first week I used it. One of the pop rivets that held the handle was not fully in and when it failed the screen came crashing down. I had to use nuts and bolts and drill out the remaining rivets. The screen now is not smooth and will need some additional tweaking . So if you are not a handy man or clever prepare to return this item.

Durability in question.
The good....easy to setup and the actual projection surface isn't bad.The bad.....real flimsy build quality so I question durability. It's made out of real thin metal and the extension pole has a cheap plastic threaded connector. I don't think the threads will last for too many setups and takedowns. Also when folded up for transport there is nothing to keep everything tight. So the screen tube swivels while carrying it which is a pain. All the sudden it will kick out to the side while your walking and hit things. I had to remedy this by adding a velcro strap around it when all folded up.Also there are two plastic plugs on the channel on the top of the screen. They both have already fallen off. Now the channel wants to slide off. So I always have to make sure I am carefull with that now. And that happened after transporting it 4 times very carefully. If your looking for a screen to pullout multiple times or transport I would say skip this one for something with a higher build quality. If your looking for a cheap screen to pullout of the closet maybe once a year than this could work fine.

Portable Elite Projector Screen
I needed to get a projector screen at the last minute for a wedding slideshow. Since the rental costs seemed exorbatant, I decided to try to find a screen online that would cost equal or less than the rental & delivery fees. The Elite screen was shipped immediately by amazon.com and arrived ahead of schedule at the wedding site. It looked enormous to me, but I had ordered it on the recommendation of the website for viewing to 150 people. Even though it was in a box 8 feet long, it was light enough to definitely be called portable. It was very easy to set up and the slideshow looked incredible. The only negative about the whole experience was that the upper piece that held the screen was slightly bowed. It made no difference in the presentation, but I will use some super glue to hold it to the upper brace just so it "looks completely stable" the next time I use it. I highly recommend the quality and economy of this projector screen.

Much, much better than when we displayed our presentations on the club house wall
Sure, walls were there first - meaning: available and free. But as the audience in our HOA meetings expanded, the images on the wall were not so easy to read. This low cost screen greatly improved how bright and clear our presentations appear in our HOA clubhouse. Now that we have this screen, we don't even think about not using it.
