Ellie and the Good-Luck Pig (10) (The Critter Club)

Wonderful book series for early readers that are too advanced for picture books, but too amateur for harder chapter books. The plots are age appropriate, sweet, and teach little girls a thing or two about friendship and responsibility. I'm very pleased with the Critter Club series, and wish there were more options out there more like this! Highly recommend. My daughter is almost 7 years old and in first grade, and these are the perfect level for her (a little challenging, but not too much to make her uncomfortable and frustrated). A+!!

My daughter loves this series. she can read it independently as the chapters are short and there are lots of pictures. She loves animals and they weave in animal issues with each story along with friend/family issues for plot. I'd say this series is good for kids who like stories about families, friends, and animals and around the age of 6-9. This book has 3 books in one. kept her reading for a while. Fast shipping from buyer too.

My seven year old loves these books- she reads them on her own any chance she gets! They are cute stories and the text on the page is fairly big and not too intimidating. There are small illustrations every couple pages to complement the story. Ordering all other books by this author!

My daughter is 8 and in in second grade and *loves* these books. This is the first time she's "gotten into" a book series, so I am excited. This book contains #4, #5, and #7. I think they skipped #6 because it is a special Valentine's Day edition. But my daughter was concerned about reading them in order, so we ordered #6 also.

These books are super sweet -- My son is 3 but has a long attention span for stories. We've had a hard time finding books that had appropriate content but were still longer/more complex. These stories hit the nail on the head. All the characters are kind and good role models. I do wish that there were male and female main characters interacting with each other but otherwise it is fantastic-- We've ready all the books many times.

My daughter loves these books. She reads them very quickly and we were trying to go in order. This book of 3 does not go in order though. After she already started reading it, I realized it has books 4,5 and 7 included. Why would they not put in number 6? Very weird. The books do stand alone, but my daughter wished they would have been in order.

I wish I could do A SAD face because I can't read I'm only 4 but surprisingly my spelling is exceptional but I really wish I could read my teacher miss Opal should teach me anyways I'm pretty smart for a four year old ask me anything about math like here's some suggestions: divisors ( I don't know if I spelled that right) my Times tables and reciprocal s so yeah math ecetera so yeah I know everything there is to know!!!! (Smiled face)

One of my daughters favorite when she was 8-9. Great for getting her interested in reading more.

The books are 1,2,4. I hadn't noticed the third book was missing. My 7 year old still enjoyed them. One page had the beginnings of some words cut off, and that bothered my 7 year old. Some kids may not notice, mine did.
