I had lost one of the set screws for my brass gear during removal and worried I might have to find a new one to install steel gear. Nope! All the steel gears had 2 in them already. Very good product!

These Stainless Steel Drive Gears Are Really Up To Snuff!.See Id been running my new Ender 3 3D Printer all summer, But id noticed small spots on my Print BedAnd noticing a pattern of Wear on my soft Brass Gear, I just put 2 + 2 together!I Installed The New Gear and Problem Solved!.LIKES:Easy Install...A Very Fair Price!.A Good Deal for the Money!.Gears Brought Problem Back In Line!.DISLIKES:Not Much Really!.OH Yes Packet Broke Open in Shipping But Stuff Happens!.....Now some reported problems after Install sic!.Me i had none and i didn't have to alter PID or E.See I was already running extrusion at 100, But normal setting on Ender is usually 93 to 95.So in swapping gear and going from Brass 40 to Stainless 36 just reduced my extruder speed to more inline with regular factory speed..So install these with out fear, Just be careful to snug up adjuster screws and you should be fine!.On my Ender I think factory installed my Brass Gear off center, Which i suspect is why so many out there are complaining of Drive Speeds, And Extruder problems.Its NOT a hard deal but be care ful to keep the new gear centered and you should be fine.I left my Extruder setting on 100 and new gear is working and feeding fine No issues!.....So Enjoy, i Am,!Kudos To Seller!.Kudos To Amazon!.IndianaED

My Ender 3 Max Neos were showing signs of wear on the brass extruder gears. I replaced them with these steel gears and they have made a major difference. Please make sure that you calibrate you Esteps after replacing them as it does change. Also run some retraction tests as that does change as well. I'm very happy with the upgrade!

To be truthful, I did not buy the extruder pulley gear for its intended use. I needed two gears to turn a rightward motion from the handle of a lathe that I am making into a left handed motion (instead of using a left hand threaded rod).Almost all of the gears that I found were upward of $15 a gear because they are made for expensive RC model cars.The 36 teeth of your pulley gear are so well made that two of them together mesh perfectly. The only drawback for me is that the bore whole is 5 mm (I need 8mm) but that is easily overcome.There is a large market for gears of this type (possibly a little bigger in diameter). There is an untapped market for your company making gears. The teeth on your pulley gear are excellent in quality and at a fraction of the cost of regular gears on the market.Good luck and have a pleasant day.Eliezer

No problems, easy install. I use a lot of white filament, so a stainless extruder gear is key. Good value, will be stocked up for a while!
