Alberto V05 Herbal Escapes Clarifying Conditioner Kiwi Lime Squeeze (Pack of 2)

Extremely runny and smells like chemicals. Started to have dandruff from using it.

I initiated this review because when I opened the bottle of this conditioner, my gut reaction was to throw it at the wall and run. It smells like a potent solvent that might be used to clean automobile parts. Unfortunately, I just spent half an hour using a magnifying glass and copying down ingredients for this conditioner - then lost all of my work while researching one of the chemicals. I don't have time right now to do it all over again - but here is the takeaway from my research. Herbs and vitamins are included in this conditioner in miniscule amounts - most listed at the very bottom of the ingredients list. Toward the top of the list are some extremely worrisome chemicals which are known to cause reproductive and immune disorders, neurotoxicity and worse. Among the chemicals that I can spell from memory are benzyl benzoate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional. I'm clearly not a biochemist, but when my negative reaction to something tells me it is poison, I pay heed. Would not let my children or loved ones use this for anything.
