Wow this really is an impressive product!We live next to a farm so flies are a big problem in the summer and for years I’ve made do with retro bead curtains which quite frankly do not work. I’ve only just installed it but already I’m very impressed!It’s a bit windy today so the magnets can take a little longer to re-close when you walk through but the breeze is also not opening the door when shut as the magnets are pretty strong.It took me about an hour to fit as the hemming issue is a bit of a faff but I chose to use the Velcro strip as well as the provided tacks so it’s secure.The tacks provided are a bit weak and a few bent out of shape, so you could use small nails or drawing pins to replace if needed.The instructions provided were fantastic and detailed - just a great product at a fantastic price.

This has been successful in keeping most of the flies out. My only criticism is that the instructions could have been a bit clearer with regards to fitting but would buy again.

I am really pleased with this flyscreen. It was easy to install, fits well, I had to make a slight adjustment to the height, but this was easily done. The magnets close the screen really well behind you. It looks nice, I didn't expect it to be so good for the price. I would recommend this product.

Used all summer last year. I have purchased another for this summer, it worked really well on keeping bugs out and the dogs and kids handled it well.Did not fall down or fail to close but did get ripped by October. 😂

This item is very good at excluding flies. It is however, also very good at excluding broad-shouldered humans, and it's very, very good at excluding humans carrying a tray or anything pointy (a black and decker workmate springs to mind). The instructions suggest a stapler to help tailor the mesh screen to different width and height UPVC door openings. That is an absolute joke, a stapler is totally unsuitable. I ended up using a hot glue gun, and achieved a perfect fit of an excellent fly screen, but I was using the full width, straight from the package, I wouldn't like to try passing through this screen if the width had been tailored. It's a shame really because the magnetic closure system is very impressive. The screen is attached to the door frame with a not-very-adhesive self-adhesive strip. The frame needs to be completely spotless to achieve anything like useful adhesion. This does however facilitate the removal and storage of the entire screen outside of fly season. The screen rolls up for easy storage. Would I buy this item again? Time will tell how valuable the claimed lifetime guarantee is, and how well the screen holds up to normal passage of black and decker workmates etc., but it does provide a very effective fly screen..

Brilliant and pet friendly

The insect screen is manufactured from good quality materials and is very robust. Installation is straightforward with easy to follow illustrated instructions but pleating the excess fabric is difficult when mounting to a UPVC door using Velcro. After several attempts I decided to cut the screen down in size and re stitch it on a sewing machine. There is sufficient Velcro included with the screen to go all the way around the door frame which securely holds the screen in place. The end result looks professional, much like a tailor made screen that would cost in excess of £100.00.
