A sled for multiple purposes!
We’ve been using this sled behind our snowmobile this season and it works like a charm. We’ve carried 150lbs plus easily in this. It’s made of durable material. We purchased the smaller one which can carry quite a bit. You can also sled with these with your children inside with an adult in their lap easily. If an adult sits cross cross applesauce (yes I worked with children in the past and have kids...) and put them on your lap it’s a great sled because the sides go up higher (sled is deep) than a normal sled for kids.We are currently having to drag the sled in rough, dry and wet patches of ice and now road and gravel and it still has barely any wear and tear.We use it for many things such as taking the garbage down the hill in the winter at our property, hauling groceries and smaller house items back and forth in the winter behind snowmobile, sledding for one adult, sledding with an adult and child together, as well as being pulled behind the snowmobile on trails, haul wood from one side of property to the other. The sled is awesome. Not just for hauling behind a sled but it can be used for so many other things. It roughly weighs 10 pounds. It can float with some weight in it.

Great hauler. Stable. Not tippy.
I purchase one 3 years ago and a second one this year. High sides good width and short length are great for hauling by human or dog over small amounts of snow and yes...patches of dirt and grass over trails. Ribs on the bottom help a lot...in damp snow i like to spray with a bit of silicon spray and it becomes super super slick.I mainly haul with my own strength to the village post office for heavy packages and hauling food stuff. It has a nice lip and you can put a tarp over it. Totally good sled.

Tough and usefull sled at a great price
This little sled has really surprised me. It was very inexpensive so I didn't really have the highest expectations. Although this thing is small and lightweight it has really taken on some big tasks with no problem. I have dragged deer miles through the woods on this thing. It also comes in very handy when I go ice fishing and don't want to take a ton of stuff with me. It has hauled duck decoys behind the canoe with no issue. I have hauled firewood with this sled and it has earned it keep with that task alone. When I first got this I thought it was a little small for what I wanted to do with it, but turned out to be even more useful because of its smaller size. Very easy to throw in a truck, SUV, or even a car. This probably won't last a lifetime because the construction is a bit thin, but so far so good. I will surely replace it if I destroy it.

Not just for snow!
Working great for hauling heavy rocks around my sandy, desert yard! The rope looks thin but it's really quite strong. The tray is the same strong plastic my mortar mixing tub is made from meaning I expect it to hold up to some abuse. After fashioning my own sled from a piece of particle board and a nylon rope to move a rock I couldn't lift into the wheel barrow, I'm glad I thought to wonder if one could buy such a thing. This is WAY better than my home built job and I feel I have already gotten my money's worth in reduced bleeding and back pain. A plus, recommend!

Love it--update: needed it
Got this in case it snows and we need to get the border collie out to his favorite spots outside safely. He's got hip issues and sometimes needs help. Been using a tarp and carrying him during the summer the times he needs it--he just grins and loves the ride. A garden pull cart also works in summer. But snow time calls for a sled. This one is long enough that he can lay down but high enough that if he sits, he won't just roll out like with a regular styled bottom only style sled. Obviously, this isn't for sledding for us, it's for pulling the thirteen year old furry boy, and it feels solid enough to take it. He got all excited when he saw it, apparently he thinks it is just plain fun to be carried. Anything that makes unsteady hips safer in snow is great by us. This sled moved around on the carpet easy peasy, its underside is shaped right. Could haul all sorts of stuff in this. If you want really heavy, move to the hundred dollar odd bracket because that thickens it even more for taking abuse. For regular hauling, border collies, or kids, this works perfect.UPDATE: Our sweet boy fell and at fourteen years old, this resulted in a spiral fracture of the upper arm. Combined with his advanced age and the failure of his hips/back legs, we had to send him home to God. We used this sled to move him safely without pain from the backyard and just lifted it and him and put him into our car to take him to the ER. The ER attendants loved the sled and just transferred the whole thing with him in it to the gurney--and then later from the gurney to be with his family that last hour. It is one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. But I am so very grateful that I had bought this sled--it was just long enough for him to rest in and the sides where high enough that we could easily move him without hurting his fracture more. I really recommend getting the size of sled that best would fit your four legged brother or sister and having it on hand. Of course, it would let you move an injured calf, lamb, foal, or human--depending on what size you bought.

Durable, perfect size. Not quite as heavy duty as I had hoped.
A great size but not quite as heavy duty as I had expected. It's good quality and thick but not AS thick as I had expected it to be...I think dragging this along the ground (not snow) will wear it down but we'll see, so far so good. I bought this to drag a marine battery and electric fencing supplies around our pasture for rotational grazing livestock.

One of my best purchase decisions...
Absolutely LOVE this sled. I have a long walk to get from my car to my house. Because of roots, rocks and uneven ground, I have already broken a wire cart. By the time I received this sled, all snow had melted, however, I was pleased to find that it pulls and maneuvers easily over leaves, grass and aforementioned roots and rocks. When it hits a rock, it slides easily over it without tipping. I can see how this sled will also be very useful in the garden.
